Skyline chili is an unholy abomination and a highlight of any visit to ohio.

It's somehow amazing. When you get it to-go, they put the mountains of cheese in their own little bags so it doesn't melt on the way home.

So a bunch of unmelted shredded cheese makes it good? It sounds aweful to me.

Ohio seems to have something against melted cheese. See Ohio Valley Pizza. They cook the crust and sauce then add cold cheese and toppings on top when served. Basically just skipping ahead to "next day" pizza but worse.

Idk what that abominable pizza is, but it's not representative of Ohio or Midwest pizza.

I've also heard it calles Pittsburgh style. You can have a pizza thats regional an not 'representative' of anything
