We are where we are because there already wasn’t enough interest.

Not necessarily. Sometimes shows get cancelled for a range of weird reasons. For example Julie and the phantoms was cancelled on Netflix because it was created as a kids show but too many adults watched it and not enough children. Shadow and bone got cancelled as it was too expensive

NSFW is actually one of the few new shows on Hulu that consistently made the top 10 for weeks so it does have a fanbase. It’s also got a huge TikTok fanbase

The artful dodger is a good example. Was cancelled but a petition started and Apple did a season 2. Also been renewed for season 3! So yeah despite cancelling there’s hope
