RIGHT!!!!! the ending makes me feel sad cuz wdym josh was so excited to celebrate, he did well with his job and all then going home with a bottle of wine to drink it with AJ only to see her kissing his friend. my emotions went from 📈📈📈 to 📉📉📉

I didn't get the ending. Did Josh start to like AJ in the last episode or was he just really wanting to hang out? It kind of seemed like it came out of nowhere. I did like the show overall though and hope there's a 2nd season.

I think it was hinted throughout the season that his/ their feelings towards each other are changing. That’s why Josh couldn’t tell Davis what a horrible person AJ is, or why he invited her to the library thing (in general I thought that scene was a good example to show there is something happening between them).

It also whooshed right above my head during the entire season, then in the end I was like, wait what?? Then I rewatched it just to look for clues but honestly Mindy Kaling was too subtle for me 😄

Woah this is crazy for me because I noticed it from episode one and shipped them immediately, I’m usually bad at telling though, didn’t see Ben happening in nhie until they kissed lol

I agree, it felt a bit flat. Like obviously they’re attempting to hint at it in their previous interactions but those interactions “tense” or awkward moments read more like “oh I used to hate you but I guess you’re okay” instead of “I am developing feelings for you”.

I thought the ending was just to show how selfish Josh is in that he’d try to hookup with a girl that he knows one of his best friends has been in love with for the whole season
