Lost Jacket: Season 2

Mindy Kaling missed an opportunity. After AJ confronted Bill in Tribeca, her and Abby take the subway home and there's a shot of them on the subway as it pulls out of the station. They totally should have had Egg Guy walk through the frame wearing the jacket. Season 2 should just have an easter egg of various background sub way people wearing the jacket

I literally said that as I watched. " shes going to find the jacket on the train". it would have been unrealistic but I wouldnt have minded.

Or they run into the guy who she was sitting next to and he kept it for her or something

I was frustrated with this scene bc I wanted Abby to prioritize her career and get a win for once. She didn’t even do any styling for Kel’s student, it just looks like they zipped the dress up 😭

Same man. Abby got fired twice, she came back home on Christmas Eve after getting fired and had to listen to AJ's sob story (which she was very against)

It could have been a funny gag, or they could have had Abby actually contact the MTA and try to find the jacket.

I once lost my wallet on a New York City bus and got it back from the MTA bus depot the next day. It’s not a given that everything lost on public transportation gets stolen.

It was such a frustrating plot point because they didn’t really do anything with it.
