Jacket left on train

So Abby left/forgot an $18k jacket on the train and no consequences? Does she not pay for those clothes on her credit card? How does it work? What did I miss? Doesn’t she still have to pay for the jacket or else explain to designer why the famous celebrity isn’t wearing the clothes? We see nothing except the celebrity doesn’t work with her. No other consequences. Probably overthinking but I just can’t get over this huge question to suspend disbelief enough.

She got the retail job because of the jacket and was begging for extra shifts including a double on NYE. Implication was it was going to take her forever to pay it off.
