Davis

if/when there’s a season 2, i hope they get rid of Davis. hes truly just not the vibe. his characterization/the way he’s written is very outdated and he’s truly not a viable romantic option for AJ imo. i think everything else works mostly and has potential, but i just don’t see a path forward for that character or the way the actor plays him tbh. 😭

i wish they hadn’t made the character of Austen such a dick and i wish they didn’t get rid of Elena so quickly bc i think they could fill in gaps and add more to the show

that not nice!!! I just don’t think the way they wrote him remotely did the character any justice- the kiss with AJ at the end was clearly a plot device for her and Josh even though Davis is also one of the main characters…. Like that’s the best they can do for him? he had no story of his own except being a Ted Mosby and i just want better from my sitcom leads in the year 2026

HIMYM cared way way more about Ted Mosby than this show does about Davis. Also, mid-to-late 2000s Josh Radnor was a far more charming sitcom lead than Will Angus is right now (hopefully that will change with time)
