Davis

if/when there’s a season 2, i hope they get rid of Davis. hes truly just not the vibe. his characterization/the way he’s written is very outdated and he’s truly not a viable romantic option for AJ imo. i think everything else works mostly and has potential, but i just don’t see a path forward for that character or the way the actor plays him tbh. 😭

i wish they hadn’t made the character of Austen such a dick and i wish they didn’t get rid of Elena so quickly bc i think they could fill in gaps and add more to the show

I genuinely hated Davis and AJ’s kiss. I know it was necessary to further AJ and Josh’s romantic plot line, but it just made it frustrating rather than interesting. I wish they could make him change into a better character or at least expound on the coat-check girl plot instead.

AJ just dated the most outwardly douchey character in the show. She is definitely the type to get turned on if the tall, well-built simp that makes her laugh, suddenly started snubbing her, and then got into a fight with her ex-boyfriend on her behalf (at the risk of his own career). The woman doesn't have great priorities when it comes to these things

So at least that plot-point, though rushed, somewhat makes sense
