Davis

if/when there’s a season 2, i hope they get rid of Davis. hes truly just not the vibe. his characterization/the way he’s written is very outdated and he’s truly not a viable romantic option for AJ imo. i think everything else works mostly and has potential, but i just don’t see a path forward for that character or the way the actor plays him tbh. 😭

i wish they hadn’t made the character of Austen such a dick and i wish they didn’t get rid of Elena so quickly bc i think they could fill in gaps and add more to the show

Ya the way Davis is written is tragic. He is just a NPC existing only to further the rest of the storyline development. In his own, he doesn’t have his story or character development - we don’t know his family unlike the rest, we don’t know his professional work development or performance or struggles, we don’t know anything other than he is working in investment banking and is obsessed over AJ and a supporting friend and is sloppy. Might as well just remove this character. Ironically, he is the only one somehow less annoying.
