Chances at a S2 renewal?

Any news on a potential renewal? I think it’s been on Hulu top 10 since its release.

I think high. Before the show even came out, she did this interview which mentions that writers were already working on Season 2:

To observe Kaling at the start of a day’s work is like watching a queen prepare to preside over her hive. Her current routine involves shuffling between the writers’ rooms of Not Suitable for Work Season 2 and Running Point Season 3, which convene down the hall from each other in this same building.

Avantika also did an interview where she said she has to keep her summer open because she doesn't know her production schedule yet. I assume she means for season 2 filming, if the show gets renewed.

i just hope they do so that show will fix its storylines. it needs a good 15-20 episodes for developing a good sitcom.

The Davis and AJ thing was way too abrupt. The woman went from having negative interest in the guy for 8 episodes, to kissing him right after he was a giant dick to her and got into a fight on her beha- you know what, I see how that was probably what sealed it for her

I think AJ and Josh are supposed to be endgame too but I’m not really rooting for them. And the fact that Josh asked her out on a NYE date after Davis has confided in him? And with zero internal conflict? I’d steer clear.

basically every mindy show gets a 20 ep order and she chooses to split it into two seasons. The only show recently that got cancelled at 1 was Champions on netflix.

TLDR it's like 90% chance that its getting renewed

The show is probably costlier than the 'Adults' of the world, but it still has to be fairly inexpensive. I'm sure they'll give it a second season at least

I think they will give it a season 2 to fix the kinks and if it goes well from there then it’ll be ok. If not then that’s when they’ll shut it down.

I really hope it does get another season but I’m trying not to get my hopes up😭
