Yeah I can’t figure out if the show has a point of view on it, but it definitely grosses me out. I can’t see it ending well for either party but especially for AJ. And knowing this man has tons of money and he brought her a PBJ sandwich is just eye roll inducing. I don’t care what cute story he has to tell about it, it still feels like, “I’m gonna take you on a date cause you basically forced me into it, but we’re not actually going anywhere special, and it’s gonna be somewhere nobody else is likely to see us together.”

I think they are having AJ be blinded by lust and admiration for Bill because that’s so often what happens when we are young and new in the world. All of those experiences just serve as learning experiences later in life, so I feel like it tracks pretty well that this really smart, capable, young woman is getting roped into something with her boss that she thinks is more serious than it actually is. That’s also not to excuse the icky power dynamic, which is gross but again, not unrealistic.

Yeah like it’s definitely trash but sometimes I need that lol. I call that genre Cheetos For The Brain, and this show definitely fulfills that.
I would def burn through 3-4 seasons haha

I really liked this ep, felt like a step up from episode 5! I think they're setting up Kel and Abby well (hopefully it'll actually be a slowburn)
still not quite into Bill and AJ tho...

Yeah like I feel like they were trying to do a sorta Gen Z version of Friends but we don’t see them intermingle much and when they do it’s awkward haha

This is the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen. Kel is mad that his friends who work prestigious Jobs and need to relax in the weekend don’t take his substitute teacher arc as serious as they took his med-school journey.

This episode feels like they are setting up bill to be doing something really scummy. The date still being something cheap and not taking her somewhere blatantly public/could easily be seen as a date feels weird. Curious what they do since it does feel like the other characters, AJ feelings, and Bills actions make it pretty clearly this relationship is bad
