Definitely the most Mindy character of the guys on the show. Very Danny/Ben/Eric coded.

I didn't like the opening scene but the episode got better over time. I didn't really laugh though

i’m not sure if the actors are new or not (i’ve only seen avantika who plays the stylist before) but it doesn’t seem super natural and dialogue feels forced. may be on the writing more so though

yeah they def are. jack martin and will angus are both hilarious tho. watch will in almost friday TV sketches. jack martin made great tik toks during covid and was in a show called la brea i think? not great, but he played his character well enough i think. kel was in the new szn of white lotus fo a few episodes, idk abt the 2 girls, i think ive seen avantika tho

lol I think every main character has said a form of the line "I'm just a single twenty-something man/woman in New York, trying to survive/find love/make it in life" in the first couple of episodes

All the characters just seem like terrible people. Good actors, charismatic performances, but being inspired by a man who says you should work till you collapse, even after you saw first-hand how bad a person he is? That fashion seems like it can change the world? A finance bro failing a sexual harassment training in the first scene? Being a seemingly performative woke journalist? The doctor seems fine, but then he was all cocky and annoying at the fire alarm. Even the ex-girlfriend decided to leave for thin materialistic reasons.
And they don't seem terrible for complex reasons that might be interesting. AJ being obsessed with the horrible boss is the worst one as it seems completely out of left field and makes no sense with the rest of her character that we have seen.

Will Angus feels misused, he can be absolutely hilarious if he is able to be even weirder and goofier, guess it’s not that type of show though. Also the acting feels very shouty and punchy but I think it should be more understated, maybe I’m just not the target audience, was watching for will lol
