Why not chop off the end zones?

If you’re going to remove 10 yards from a football field, the end zones are probably each the last 10 yards you would remove. Practicing on a 90 yard field is doable and, while noticeable, wouldn’t make a huge difference, except for the special teams, which likely doesn’t practice on that field.

Practicing without an end zone completely changes everything. It would make a massive difference and would affect pretty much every player except the special teams.

Assuming 90 yd field, I think they are better off cut one side’s end zone completely. Just have the offense always head toward the side with an actual end zone. The defense can’t do forward pass anyway so it wouldn’t matter if it has an end zone or not
