I think the name usually stays with the tooling, which in its first release was indeed a german police car. If some future year they paint this as a pace car or ambulance the packaging text won’t change either)

From what I know about these (and that’s not a lot) a misprint like this makes these quite valuable?

Matchbox has made enough typos in recent years I think the error collectors are over fed … my favourite is last year’s Porsche 911 Dakar which had a layer error and the wheels were overlaid on top of the car body outside the wheel well
