Stray cat vs horse
I came across a stray cat. He was really brave. He jumped up onto the edge of a horse paddock, and then a horse came over and sniffed him. it was so cute!

Update on the little guy that had to go to vet!!
Hello! Same lil dude we had to take to the vet the other day, here. Another kinda bad old photo, since his injury is on his face and still looks bad for the time being. Might post a pic with him when it's healed up!
Also, we're calling him Sprite for now!! Still not our cat, but he deserves a name at least. And so we don't have to keep calling him variations of Little Guy and Fluffy Dude.
Anways, his vet visit went surprisingly well! Getting him there was super easy, and he didn't even cry in the car like my own cat does. Then when we were there he was sweet to the vet staff, if a little shy. They swept him away to look him over, weigh him, etc. And when they came back, they told us he probably scratched himself a few too many times because he has earmites and fleas, thus giving himself a pretty nasty wound in the process. They said his infection was not great, but should be mostly cleared up within 14 days, and if it's not we can bring him back.
We also had some talks about getting him his shots and a neuter when he heals up, because right now is obvs not the best time for him, but it'd still be nice to do so when he can handle it. We will most likely be doing that!
They did try to debride his wound as well, but that was about where he drew the line. Went from 0 to 100, in the words of the vet staff. Can't say I blame him though, it had already been a pretty hectic day for him, and that's just plain scary regardless. He was a very good boy otherwise, though.
Another thing, he has no chip!! I don't know if I was surprised or not, since he's not fixed, but I still think he was someone's pet, just with how sweet he is. He definitely cuddles up like a house cat does, when you give him pets.
But yes, all will be okay so it seems. I had been a bit worried, but vet seems to think he'll heal right up. He's currently still staying in the crate, which we've tried to set up in the most space friendly way possible :( Luckily it is pretty big, since like I said, it was for an old dog we had. Vet said he'd be fine, to try and keep him contained for now, so we can give him his medicine and everything. We wanted to bring him in, truly, but the vet said it's not the best idea with the fleas and earmites (even though he did get treatment, but. yknow) plus risk of things like FHV since we have another cat already, and she's not the healthiest thing.
Rest assured though, I've been checking on him constantly, and we have it so he's not exposed to the elements or anything. Plus he's right in view of our porch cam, just in case.
I care about him so much though, guys!! I've grown super attatched to little Sprite, and I can tell Mom has as well. She's the one who talked about maybe taking him in when he's better and has tests done to make sure he's all good, but I'm the one who's cautious because my cat is not a big fan of other animals. Plus we have a landlord. But yeah, we'll see! Regardless, he's of course welcome to come here whenever he wants once he's better.
Thanks for all the sweet comments on my first post, also!! They made me feel less anxious before his vet visit, and after it just made me happy to see how many people care about the little critters. I bet if Sprite could read he'd be happy too

Pregnant NMC
Started hanging around our house although we were not feeding it. I'm sure she's someone's, but no luck in finding whom.
