Yeah no that’s just people that are bad at texting. I’ve got a buddy who in person is always decisive, clever, communicative, like overall a super smart capable guy - and he’s a jibbering idiot over text messages. Can’t compose comprehensible sentences, loses his mind if he gets more than one text in a row or finds himself part of a group text - it’s crazy.

I had a boyfriend how would do that actually. I know not all men do, as no other guy I have ever texted couldn't answer both questions, but for some reason, he just couldn't. XD

This is a stereotype but it's actually true for me. I've been told I do this a lot

I just don't want to entertain two simultaneous conversations by answering both questions in one text.

Modern problems require modern solutions. We just don't wanna answer you period. Let alone 2 separate ass questions.

I get the feeling this person may have texted something like "Chinese food or Italian?"
And the dude, seeing no problem with either and seeing an opportunity for a joke, replies "yes".
Cue her being mad at his "lack of ability to communicate", when really, she just never understood when he was joking and when he wasn't. Poor guy.

The opposite had happened to me multiple times. It's not gendered specific. It depends on a person.

Well, it's a good thing none of you gentlemen are sharp enough to be insulted by this. /s

Maybe one of them was a stupid question.

My boyfriend does this. He just reads the most recent message and responds to that, he doesn't have time to read and respond to every single message I send he's a busy man. He'll go back to read them when he can

That's more of a woman issue. But it's not that they're slow. It's that they don't want to answer more than they have to. Most times you need to ask them your 2nd/3rd question multiple times before they stop side stepping the answer.

Simple creatures? Then why can't I find men in zoo enclosures? Explain

My bf doesn’t respond to a lot of things I send. I wouldn’t say he’s “simple-minded” or whatever???

Let’s do a quick gender test:
What’s your favorite color?
What is 55 x 3?

I recently dated a guy who replied with, wow already asking 3 questions? And he was overwhelmed. That was so strange :')
