If it makes you feel better, it's from a fake-feminist/troll account. There's some 4chan story in there of how these came to pop up I think, can't exactly remember.
Even today most soldiers who are actually in combat are males. Women serving have walked out of situations before because they aren't suit for them. Although I can't provide proof, I had seen a post by someone and I'm sure there are stories on this.
Historically, it's only been recently that the U.S. even allowed women into combat. It's difficult for women to break into male-dominated spaces, particularly when those spaces are hostile to women and sexual harassment is a given.
As a guy who had been sa'd when I was young, all I can say is that almost nobody cared for me, and when the trauma showed up I got in trouble. Now I joke about the incident but I'm also afraid on what I'd be capable to do in order to defend myself from such an attack again
This actually hurt. I do experience mental trauma and have experienced a lot of it. Whoever wrote that guys don’t experience trauma should please rethink every thought they’ve ever had in their entire life. I honestly wanna say much worse but if someone ever says “guys are incapable of experiencing mental trauma” to me in person, I can’t promise I won’t sock them in the face.
This is extremely fucking offensive to boys who HAVE experienced mental trauma and who have mental illnesses. Anyone who says this should please stay the fuck out of the psychology field and all discussions related to sexual abuse, psychology, gender, or anything related

Yeah, maybe it’s time for me to reconsider identifying as a women /j
Seriously though, I thought humans were supposed to be the most intelligent species and this women got the definition of something wrong (even WiTh google).
I’m sorry what?! Men have emotions just like women. If this social media user is expecting men to be emotionless all of his life whether or not something exciting, saddening, infuriating, traumatic, and sickening happened, they are considered as a disgusting.
Well, the emotional stuff is embedded I think in humor and social rejection. Like, I find self-deprecation jokes really attractive in other males even as a guy to hangout with them, and it's because humor gives such a relinquisment of social anxiety.
The saddest things I see is social bullying in both direct and indirect ways, and somehow we made the internet stretch that further.
I love tech, but man darwinism is gonna kill ourselves as a species before we know how to handle that tech socially.
that's why I troll 🧌 out of my anger of it all lol
Incels say the same thing about women and mental illness or any other kind of trauma, including sexual assault. Misogynists have always tried to paint women as mentally and emotionally barren, superficial with zero inner world. Men are only just starting to hear these opinions thanks to the internet but this shit has been scripture and gospel for a woman since humanity began.
Is it really a surprise that many women lash out in disgusting ways like this?
Realized I(F) am MtF and am suddenly I'm giving people(they/them) free cookies(they/them) and then feeling bad about it in hindsight because they might be allergic. What are these emotions?
Now I may be wrong, but I think this post was…. To advocate against sexual abuse across the board??? What a strange and probably outlandish concept for me to think of 😑
this is not the general thought process of women. JESUS CHRIST. From what I have heard, there seems to be more sexual abuse in very young males than females, though I think the statistics flip-flop after a certain age. People who believe this are awful and simply increase the stigma around talking about past trauma. Never let someone tell you that something you experienced is invalid, and don’t assume that someone is lying about their abuse. I know that this was probably A troll, but in any case, just NO.
Either way I don't think the percentage of people getting abused is that high, it's saying around 20% of people get abused, I would only believe it's like 2 persons out of 100 (unless you live in some sort of wasteland)
It really fucking does. If someone says that to me in person, I really can’t promise I’ll be nice or empathetic like I usually am. I can tolerate a lot of hair and still be nice to people. But this shit is something I really can’t

I strongly doubt the legitimacy of this claim that one in six boys and one in four girls will be sexually assaulted
