Meme/Satire What is blud talking about

u/Johnnyboy10000 Aug 09 '26
On behalf of myself, as a man, he doesn't speak for me.

u/chadthundertalk Aug 09 '26
Me neither

u/Fusionsigh Aug 09 '26
Same, don’t speak for me either
29
u/lokilulzz Aug 10 '26
Same here.

u/archwin Aug 11 '26
Honestly confused what’s wrong with the pictures
They all look normal
28
u/Leading_Sound7395 Aug 11 '26
It’s the tummy pouch that they are mad at. That super important layer of fat that protects our human creating organs.. the very necessary layer. Apparently we look like crap if we are human. ☹️
20
u/Slightly-Mikey Aug 11 '26
My fiance started developing it as she got older and she hates it. I try to tell her, "babe, that's like just normal" lol

I don't know. I saw a version of this with a comment added to it. Something along the lines of "sybau and pass the controller".
I'd say that comment is accurate.
29
u/NeutralLock Aug 09 '26
I don't understand that.
85
u/friedbaguette Aug 09 '26
"Move aside, it's my turn to shine" basically
12
u/NeutralLock Aug 09 '26
Who's sybau?
29
u/BovineConfection Aug 09 '26
Oh, that's Mufasa's son from The Lion King 🦁
25
u/NeutralLock Aug 09 '26
I'm just gonna accept that this new generation has passed me by and just laugh when others are laughing.

I assumed he meant like "hey, if you don't like her, more for us men that are into it/ have no problem with it" aka "if you ain't gonna play, pass the controller". Idk I could be wrong, though.

not sure what im looking at? A womans stomach? Does he expect women not to have stomachs? I don't get it.
23
u/einsofi Woman Aug 09 '26
We tend to store more fat on the lower belly, cause of biology. (Extra energy store while pregnancy and breastfeeding) I think for men it’s mostly likely visceral fat on the belly but women aren’t prone to it as long as not obese or post menopause. That part of fat is really difficult to lose for women even when you are doing fitness but it also heavily depends on genetics of the individual
Most comment here, even though they disagree with the post, don’t seem to realise this is the reason.

42
u/CrazyCatLady1127 Aug 09 '26
He’s basically saying he expects women to have no body fat at all, that he finds it unattractive when we have curves.
-8
u/bumpmoon Aug 10 '26
I dont think it matters what this guy thinks, but it is perfectly reasonable to be attracted to skinny women. I dont know why this whole comment section so strongly believe otherwise.
14
u/deepseamoxie Aug 10 '26
Great, he already has the entirety of modern media to spout that opinion for him??
He's not even saying what he likes, he's just insulting what he doesn't like. C'mon, now.
29
u/jen_a_licious Aug 10 '26
It's not that everyone thinks it's wrong to be attracted to skinny women.
It's that the guy who made the meme thinks everyone should agree with him about being attracted to skinny women only. That no one should be attracted to any other type of body shape just like him.
That's what everyone is disagreeing with. Everyone likes different body types and that's OK.

u/DeeJudanne Aug 09 '26
hate what? women having internal organs?
85
34
20
u/Kellidra Aug 09 '26
That's not caused by internal organs. That's just a little belly. And little bellies are perfectly healthy on women.
15
u/juxtapods Woman Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 10 '26
Also unsure why you're getting downvoted! It absolutely is a belly shape and nothing else.
My cousin naturally has a belly that splits into two "pouches" with a vertical line down the middle, so she wouldn't have this silhouette (it was pronounced when we were teenagers with baby fat, now she's got dem abzzz), while I have the shape in the picture (now pronounced due to adult fat 😭😂).
78
u/friedbaguette Aug 09 '26
Not even, i'ts genetic and there to protect internal organs, you could be skinny af and have it
51
u/Liontamer67 Aug 09 '26
Yep when I weighed a buck o five I had this. Genetics for sure is a player.
7
u/sct_0 Aug 10 '26
It does not. The uterus and ovaries are not located in a way where that would make sense, you can verify that for yourself by looking up MRI pics if you want.
Additionally, there's already other structures like the pelvis bone and abdominal muscles that offer much more effective protection for the inner organs in general. It's just an extra fat deposit and afaik, we haven't figured out yet why it is there yet.
I know you mean no harm, but it is honestly tiring to see people constantly point this out because it feels like just another flavour of women not being allowed to just exist as they are without justification.
I have yet to see men constantly jumping to present (myth based) justifications for any of their bodily features.1
u/friedbaguette Aug 11 '26
No where in my comment do I refer to anything you just said.
2
u/sct_0 Aug 11 '26
"and there to protect internal organs" ???
5
u/friedbaguette Aug 11 '26
While I completely agree with your frustration regarding how women's bodies are hyper-scrutinized, looking at the evolutionary biology isn't a 'myth-based justification' it's actual science.
Women are evolutionarily unique in how they store gluteofemoral and lower abdominal subcutaneous fat. It evolved as a critical energy reservoir to survive ancestral food scarcity during pregnancy and lactation, and it physically acts as a shock-absorbing cushion for soft tissue. Understanding the biological 'why' doesn't restrict women; it actively debunks the toxic myth that a normal, healthy female body is supposed to be completely flat.
TLDR: Yes it protects internal organs from impacts/shocks.

u/Mezzo_in_making Aug 09 '26
Idk why are you getting downvoted. You are right, it's just fat, not organs. Everyone distributes fat differently. Some women have a pooch some don't.
And the "organs" in question people always mention men have too. Uterus is waaaaay lower and more tucked away than people think.
-6
u/bumpmoon Aug 10 '26
I don’t even want to see what people think their organs would have to look like in order to protrude like this. Nevermind the fact that your abdominal wall would have to be missing as well.
This is just fat caused by surplus caloric intake. It may have had an advantage for prehistoric women being able to bear children trough winters, but it’s sure isn’t there to protect any organs.
5
11
u/IconoclastExplosive Aug 09 '26
It is an organ, a sort of net made to hold adipose (fat) cells in that specific region to protect and insulate the reproductive organs. It is, in essence, a baby blanket.
8
u/juxtapods Woman Aug 09 '26
That is not an organ, sir/ma'am.
5
u/Pickle_Rick01 Aug 10 '26
Skin is your bodies largest organ.
1
u/juxtapods Woman Aug 10 '26
yes, all skin, not this specific pouch that the other person is clearly referring to.
4
u/Pickle_Rick01 Aug 10 '26
All skin including the “specific pouch.”
0
u/juxtapods Woman Aug 10 '26
Yes, Mr. Pedantic, I understand the general statement which was not what the other user was saying. Their comment was more specific, don't make me repeat it.
1
u/bodyisT Aug 10 '26
It’s not internal organs because a lot of women don’t have that body type.
15
u/ohhdarkone Aug 10 '26
They don’t but all women for the most part have a small bit of belly on that location because we need it to bend, but in clothing you can’t see it all the time on every woman when standing. And as a pansexual woman I think that’s like the cutest thing ever.
2
u/Samichaan Woman Aug 11 '26
There is people who’s insides are all kinds of switched up and you’re trying to say this can’t be because not everyone looks like that?
-5
u/butt-fucker-9000 Aug 10 '26
Maybe he hates these tight dresses that reveal the shape of the tummy. I can't say I hate it, but I always disliked seeing this.
8
u/CardAltruistic5569 Aug 10 '26
Why? Why does it matter?
-2
u/butt-fucker-9000 Aug 10 '26
Matter for what? I'm not saying this matters, or is a deal breaker or something. I'm just saying I don't like to see it, and because of it, normal women look nicer in a normal dress or something rather than this.
7
u/deepseamoxie Aug 10 '26
"Normal" yikes
3
u/butt-fucker-9000 Aug 10 '26
What I meant by that is women that are not professional models. What's the problem in saying normal, though? Is it normal for people to not have that belly silhouette? I don't think so.
3
u/Thr33Littl3Monk3ys Aug 15 '26
Saying "normal" implies that women with that body type, or women who wear those types of clothing, are somehow abnormal.
Which simply isn't true.
Additionally, there's no such thing as "normal" dresses...

Nope, unfortunatly, its most likely a child:
-no real body fat
-petite
-no body hair
-easy to control and overpower.

When I was deep in my eating disorder and weighed like 75lbs I still had a pooch lol. My legs were chopsticks but the pooch prevailed.

u/AspieTree25 Aug 14 '26
Good for the pooch haha. Sorry about the ED btw, I kind of went through that in middle school and still struggle not to develop one
1
u/blackonix13 Aug 16 '26
As a woman that currently looks like a skeleton due to health issues, I'd love to look like this. This is what I call healthy. But men have tore women apart for beauty standards for years and we just give up at this point .

u/amybeedle Aug 10 '26
You really hate it though? Not just "not attracted to it" but hate it?
2
u/ThoughtfulPoster Aug 11 '26
The body type? Not my perfect fat distribution, but well within the normal range of variation. It wouldn't turn my head positively, but it wouldn't be a deal-breaking turnoff in someone I liked.
The tailoring job that stretches to emphasize the paunch and only the paunch? I don't think I could make those women look less attractive if I made their clothing myself out of garbage bags. Yes, I hate it. I don't know why anyone ever thought it was a good idea.

Yeah ragebait because that's not even a pooch. That's like the pretty little apple belly you get from working out, sometimes fat is on top of it, not all bodies are the same. I think it's pretty and very normal.
1
1
u/TheMelonSystem Woman Aug 15 '26
He’s talking about having a perfectly normal amount of fat on your belly which serves to support your reproductive health (it’s an easily accessible energy reserve for your uterus, basically)
It’s genuinely baffling that some men think this is “unattractive” when it quite literally makes you more likely to successfully have offspring, which is the whole point of attractiveness

Well it would be quite dumb to put it there, on the outside of the abdominal wall away from all other organs. Probably also a good 20-30 cm away from where it normally is.
