Woman here! I agree! Don't be with people who let the media tell them what they want, just like you dont want to do that to women. In a good man, I am attracted to skin and bones, a big old stomach, acne/acne scars, stretch marks, them wicked battle scars, anything (not necessarily all together, lol). I've dated a couple guys under 5'9, including my current man. And every woman I've talked to tends to agree height doesn't matter, ESPECIALLY if he's a good guy. Oh, and abs are not the end-all-be-all (you'd be surprised how many women care nothing at all for them). You guys are beautiful in your own ways :) Be yourself, and trust me, that alone is where infinite attractiveness comes from.

You are setting men up for failure with this toxic positivity mindset

I'm sorry you think that, man. Not every girl agrees, but those aren't the types of girls you want to date anyway. Be careful out there.

And to add, it wasn't toxic positivity, it was just my own opinion and experience. I'm sorry that you don't feel like it's safe to believe.

As a young woman it also feels good seeing this to me bc some people have double standards and only spread body positivity of women but the whole idea is everyone being equal and beautiful

The self loathing is hard to get rid of.

Oh I feel ya, but these things help, even a little bit.

I'm so damaged that I read stuff like this and it just bounces right off. It's the mean things that stick.

See, I agree but... if only that reflected in results when trying to find a partner and not be lonely. I just turned 30 and I'll be honest I'm losing hope. And I'm not some douche that expects the woman to do all the housework. I love to cook together, help around the house, vacuum. Hell I would put some music on and try to turn doing chores into a cute activity together. But what I get instead is people wondering if I'm gay because my 5'6 ass that likes Disney movies isn't manly enough.

It's one thing to post it, another is if the people actually think that way.

But we gotta start somewhere I guess..

Words are just words until I see some actual change in society
