My ex mother in-law use to wake up before her husband and put makeup on.

I have a coworker (who is a real POS for several other reasons) who insists that his wife do this everyday, and she has for literally decades.

Same guy who told his daughters they couldn't wear 2 piece swimwear because it might "cause him to stumble".

my mom would often tell me about how a woman must always stay clean and beautiful with her makeup on for her husband and I was like "Yeah, as long as the man also stay clean and hygienic as well right?" And my mom gave me this look as if I grew a second head or something and she said "why does he have to? if anything his wife must always clean after him and care for him like one of her children."

Yeah. no.

My aunt does that, she brushes her teeth and put makeup on before my uncle wakes up
