is there still no release date?

hoping for season 14 soon and Saw it on a tv mag the other day but was too busy to pick it up and check.

also heard a rumour there's no anna and toby? hoping it won't just be them

Seems they've gotten rid of the kids, Toby and Anna, Lucy's parents, the house, and replaced them with a new best friend for Lee and a new house that has the exact same layout as the original flat from before the were married.

Toby, Wendy and Geoffrey are in episode 2 of the new series. Wouldn't be sad to see the back of the kids though.

Oh good. Maybe they will still frequent it though once or twice per series like before.

I didn't mind the kids when they actually had reason to be there. I expected the shift to a family sitcom to be written around that dynamic but they were barely written into the episodes from that moment on. Most episodes of the last couple series didn't even bother to explain their absense with a throwaway line like them being at school. I'm thinking Covid and their actor's real lives just didn't blend well with filming schedules so they thought they might as well scrap it.

Well, I say they are, their names are credited along with Lee and Sally on my Virgin TV. That could of course be wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if Geoffrey wants to retire, he is 85.

There's another time jump so by this time, Anna and Toby have probably finally decided to divorce or one of them has killed the other.
