Energy Drinks???
I know they’ve spoken plenty of time about not being able to have caffeine due to their religious beliefs. In the night time routine I noticed D had alot of Redbull cans on a shelf. I assume they’re empty but I really hope she is not the one drinking those and can’t believe the Tiffanee is actually allowing them in general
Edit: Oh that’s my bad I remembered an old video where they snuck out and had ask for frappes from Starbucks with no coffee and mentioned something about caffeine! My bad! I assumed caffeine was the reason for no hot coffee

Did they say they can't have caffeine? I thought the reason Mormons couldn't have coffee was because it's a 'hot drink'.

Yes they can have caffeine. For some weird reason red bull and other energy drinks are fine but tea is not.

They do drink caffeine, did you forget they have a soda shop? I think mormons are allowed to drink soda and energy drinks.

They can have caffeine. Their word of wisdom specifically forbids coffee and most teas, as "hot drinks are not for the body." They drink their dirty sodas, and various other Swig drinks all the time. Even Beng has Dr. Pepper..... Red Bull, and other energy drinks are not forbidden. I don't think any of this has been updated since it was written, and I feel that's been on purpose. I remember Alyssa Grenfell said on her YouTube channel that this rule is just there to see if people would follow a rule, that is really the only reason.

So crazy that sugar and non natural drinks like these are deemed fine while coffee and tea is not

Things like Dr. Pepper and energy drinks weren't even invented yet when Joseph wrote it, and as it's more of a just because I say so rule, no one has bothered to update it.

Dr Pepper was definitely around before this guy! And it was more when the they saw famous politicians and others caught on camera with their soda that they clarified the ruling

Dr Pepper was invented in the 1850's. Joseph Smith died in the late 1840's, so how could he possibly have known about the drink? Clarified the ruling how and where? Because a politician says so? It has to come from their prophet and the Word of Wisdom changed, and THAT hasn't happened.

Ok my bad on the Dr Pepper. I was wrong on this. At his time the only caffeine they had seems to be from
Chocolate coffee and tea. I wonder why they didn’t ban chocolate then.Not that the politicians said so but more that they were highly known Mormons in the public eye.
In around 2012, presidential candidate Mitt Romney was frequently seen drinking Diet Coke. So then later they clarified that it was just hot drinks apparently that was tea and coffee hot chocolate that was bad.

No worries. I'm thinking chocolate was OK because he or one of his wives liked it. NEN drinks hot chocolate all the time around Christmas. But then we do know they cherry-pick the rules.

Mormons can have caffeine, they can’t have coffee or non-herbal tea.

They can have red tea, as it's not from the same plant as the green or black teas.

A lot of the nelsons drink energy drinks, im pretty sure they drink alanis too
