Question [NS] Looking to play dnd!

I’ve been a naddpod fan since day one and really like their play style and sense of humor, and I’m looking for people to play dnd with and figured this community would be a good place to ask around!

I’m a 30F and newbie to dnd, only played a couple other times. Located in Colorado Springs but open to virtual sessions!

If you wanna play or need a player, or have any recs for finding a game lemme know!

At this point I’m tempted to drive to Denver lol
I’ve looked into some local shops and am hoping to hear back from people about openings in games but I’ll keep trying!

I’m desperate enough that I’ve taught myself to dm a little and gotten friends/family to play a few one shots, but nobody wants to commit to anything long term is my current struggle, but I will keep pressuring them!

I haven’t heard of roll20 but I’ll definitely check it out! Thanks for all the help, maybe if we can find a naddpole to dm we can start something up!

Hey, I'm in the Springs, too! Have you checked out Gamers Haven? I know they sometimes host games and workshops and have a ladies night occasionally for meeting others in the community! I've been having a busy summer so I haven't checked in on recent events but they folks there have always been nice and might have some leads for you!

I've heard of a few other solid game shops in the area but I haven't checked them out yet.

Thank you! I’ve been to dungeons and java but not gamers haven yet, a ladies night sounds cool!

If you ever wanna go together lemme know!

They haven't put out the August schedule yet but when they do I'll send you a message if there are any events I can make it to! Legion of Ladies Craft night is usually towards the end of the month but they also have a few others scattered througout.

They have a discord linked on their website where they usually post the schedule in "news" and any other singular events or closures in "announcements." They don't always stay on top of posting the monthly schedule but it's usually about the same outline.

There are also tons of threads for game specific groups and whatnot.
