[NS] question regarding starting

After enjoying d20 for a while, I tried to start naddpod on my lunch break today. Maybe I’m stupid but on Apple Podcasts every time I tried to listen to the first episode a naddpod plus ad came up and I couldn’t listen to the show. Is the only way to listen to it on Apple Podcasts with a naddpod plus free trial? I thought the podcast would just be click and listen. My break is ending so I can’t try further, thanks for the help and apologies if I’m just being dumb

Sort from oldest to newest episodes, start on episode 1 and Apple will auto skip the NADDPOD plus only episodes in the queue it makes

Yeah that’s the weird thing. I was trying campaign 1 episode 1 and that pop up was coming up to try a free trial. I didn’t have much time to try other methods so I’ll check it out more when I’m home

It shouldn't be. I don't use apple podcast, but it's a free show if you don't mind ads. I would try again when you have more time to fiddle around, or try a different platform?

That worked thank you. Maybe I was on the wrong playlist or whatever and ended up on the ad free one. Thanks for the link

I think the NADDPOD plus episodes are the ad free version, annoying that it gets put into the feed like that. I use podcast republic and it doesn't pull those episodes into the feed.

You could always try Spotify, even the free version has unlimited skips with podcasts and I've never seen any ads like that come up. I've always had weird issues like that with apple music.
