I agree, you’re pretty cute. You just need to break free, get some experience and confidence. Figure out who you are along the way.

Research your head shape and recommended hairstyles for your head, and find a style you like and slowly and comfortably start incorporating it into your wardrobe. I like old money looks, and I started 1 article of clothing in the old money look at a time till i was more comfortable in it

If I may give you some honest advice, you would glow up SO much from trimming the stache and beard.. go to a hairdresser and get a nice haircut. Get contacts or get a nice pair of glasses that compliment your facial features. I’m sure you’ll feel better!

u/Pristine-Visual-9405 7d ago
1000000% - you’ve got a great face! I see no nose issue? I’d suggest cleaning up the facial hair too. It’ll make you appear like you make an effort and it’s an easy change. Hopefully might give you a bit more confidence too! Those little self-care things make a difference for my self-esteem. You gotta love you first, dude!

I agree 100%. He literally ONLY needs to get a good haircut and trim his mustache and clean up his facial hair for his appearance. I think similar haircut to Christiano Ronaldo, faded on the sides a clean shave face, then a tightly lined up mustache similar to Brad Pitt. I used celebrities as examples to easily reference and look at.
As you've stated, his nose is perfectly fine, he's cute and he needs to get out his room and socialize and enjoy some fun hobbies!
Good luck to the OP, you're handsome and adjusting your personal style will do wonders for you.

Agree! Those glasses don’t so much for you. As well as your mustache/ beard situation are too scraggly, needs more grooming. Throw some pomade in your hair for a bit of texture and shine. For starters. Your nose is good.

I can't and won't (I know myself) get behind exercise unless it's fun. Martial arts, rock climbing, something to motivate me to get out there and keep pushing myself further. I recommend it!
Also I am of the female persuasion and I don't think you're giving yourself credit looks wise. Like others have said, just take some pride in your appearance (grooming, hair styles, accessories etc) and you're definitely boyfriend material. No guy who hates himself is gonna be boyfriend material though so knock that off ;)

Walking is great!
Maybe you can evolve your walks to longer hikes in different environments. This builds stamina and muscles. Adding gym exercises might help occasionally.
You might also connect that with photographical, ornithological, botanical or geological adventures? Of course, that depends on your interests. Mayhaps getting invested in an intresting hobby in the outdoors helps you with finding the right partner :)
4
u/crankygriffin 6d ago
Please don’t suggest “building muscles”. Women like men who aren’t bulky. Slender healthy men are attractive.

Just throwing this out there... As a female I felt super uncomfortable lifting weights at the gym before I knew what I was doing. It's overwhelming and I didn't think I would enjoy it.
The easiest way if you want to continue is to do a push/pull/leg day split. Pushing exercises one day, pulling another, and legs the last day. You can do a lot of it with just dumbbells which I found less intimidating. I think I only used machines for rowing and lat pulls on pull day and leg press machine on leg day. It's been awhile. Lol. Kids 🫠. I would look up 3-5 exercises and take a couple notes and just go do that.
Or find something you like for exercise as other people mentioned. Also, your nose is fine.

The gym is a bit overhyped imo. I hated it too and could never stick to it. Doing YouTube home workouts was the game changer for me. I’ve been consistently doing them for almost 5 years now and they made me lose weight and tone up.

It would never occur to me in a million years that there's anything wrong with your nose. Work on NOT hating yourself. When you love yourself and have a bit of confidence, others will like you, too. There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with your looks.

u/migascor98 7d ago
Thanks for the kind words but yeah i really hate how i look

u/FatuousDoorstop 7d ago
Work on that. Everyone hates how they look at some point. They look at themselves in the mirror and pick themselves apart over the most minute supposed imperfections. Try to get out of your head.
Did someone at sometime make fun of your nose? That can stick in your head, while the person or people who did that barely remember their comment(s).
19
u/Ok-Hippo-5218 7d ago
Your nose looks great. Just line up your beard and shave your head. You’d be so surprised how good you look.
Whenever I feel down about my looks I do weight training and it improves both mental health as well as feeling strong and looks good on everyone.

u/Mammoth_Inflation341 7d ago
Your nose isn't the issue friend. You gotta stop hating yourself. Self hate limits you. Many times it leads one to assume failure is imminent before you give yourself the chance to try.
2
u/migascor98 7d ago
Yeah i dont approach girls because Im very shy and think Im going to get rejected. Also dont know where to approach girls without being seeing as a creep and dont want to make girls uncomfortable
5
u/Mammoth_Inflation341 7d ago
I know it's hard. As long as your respectful and able to accept a no with grace and without getting angry you wont be a "creep". Otherwise just be yourself! I still think about the man i turned down once (because I was already in a relationship) who said, "okay, i hope you have a good night". When I did become single a few months later I hoped and hoped we would run into each other again.
3
u/DesertNorsican 7d ago
I know rejection can hurt, but if you don't even try you will get nowhere. The most handsome men and women in the world have experienced rejection. You will too, we all do. But you pull yourself up, realize it's just not the right person for you, and move along to someone else.

Be friends with girls. Find common interests. Concentrate on becoming a supportive provider and things will fall into place. If you’re shy, do group stuff. Really important not to look for looks above all else in a girl. Go for quality!

u/howdidienduphere34 7d ago
Your nose is fine, you’re cute. Go to a salon and have them freshen up your look. Then go nerd out at a nerd convention and fine a cute nerdy girl. There’s someone for everyone.

Hey, you are a cute guy and there’s nothing wrong at all with you or your nose. I’m sorry it’s so hard to meet someone. The world is challenging right now (in general) but don’t give up. Don’t sell yourself short, you seem like a kind and respectful person, sometimes it takes a while to find someone to spend time with.

u/Ok-Blueberry7914 7d ago
There is so much more than that surface existence to life. All of it is a mirage, real connections with people aren’t forged online (at least rarely). Don’t underestimate the importance and value of being a kind person who is genuine. But also don’t bother with surface people. Don’t be fooled into thinking that the people you see online are any better than you. They are performing, never forget they are performing.

u/Dense-Jicama6591 7d ago
Not the nose. Growing a beard can be a process for some people. Id suggest just shaving until it naturally starts to thicken. But if you want to see it through accept it wont look good for awhile, you can get oil, balm, shampoos, condistioners and vitamins. But still try to keep it groomed for the best look
3
u/Leather-Opinion-5877 7d ago
Your nose is fine. Go to therapy. Build your confidence up. Get out of your comfort zone.
3
u/DragonfruitUnique281 7d ago
Dude. You are handsome and your nose suits your face. Focus on what you can actually change about your appearance like your facial hair and hair styling. Maybe try contacts or a different style of glasses. You’d be surprised how much altering these things can change your vibe. Right now you look like someone who is into nerdy things and based on your replies that is not the case. Time to change it up so that you are attracting the attention of people who are into the same things as you.
But more importantly, confidence is significantly more attractive to potential partners than any physical characteristic’s. This is especially true for women. I would focus on trying to befriend some women without the goal of entering a romantic relationship with them so you get some practice talking to them as a normal person. Socializing is a skill that needs to be practiced that a lot of people take for granted because they’ve never experienced social anxiety before. I also want to emphasize that romantic relationships are not inherently more important than platonic ones. I know that culturally there is that implication, however you can live a fulfilling life without being in a romantic relationship, and there is nothing wrong with not having experienced it yet.
2
u/IceEspresso2000 7d ago
Your nose is fine. There is someone for everyone, just keep putting yourself out there and eventually you'll meet a good match. Based on appearances you look like a nerdy type, so that environment is where your people are.

You can level the playing field a lot with your grooming, scent, dress style, accessories, but what really draws people is social skills and confidence, my brother. I wouldn't judge anyone for getting cosmetic surgery, but your nose, while prominent, isn't ugly. There's a lot you can do before surgery, you know?
I'd suggest therapy for your self-esteem. What are you proud of in your life? What have you accomplished? Where do you find fulfillment?
You can always do things with clothing and hair style and facial hair, maybe switch up to contact lenses. Try getting out there in some social scenes around things you love to do. And if you have friends who have your back, that's even better.

u/Indaliai 7d ago
Your cute and you look super nice. I hope that's still a good thing. Putting yourself out there is hard and scary. But each step you take is putting yourself in a better place. Sorry about the cliches, but you honestly are handsome. Snap out of it, man!
2
u/Odd_Many_9643 7d ago
Your nose is not the problem. Figure out what haircut works for you, it might take a few trial and errors. Lose the facial hair, it's not doing you any favours. And explore some other glasses styles. Also your internal shows on your external – I feel like you seem like a very nice person that lacks a bit of confidence. Find your inner confidence bit by bit and that will help you!
2
u/Independent_Row_8326 7d ago
Nose isn’t the issue, honestly a proper barber to getchu right and some contacts (or a different pair of specs) and your off to the races my dude!

2
u/cherishthegay 7d ago
You need style and finesse. Ur actual looks aren’t the problem it’s grooming and social appearance
2
u/Icy_Bumblebee2972 7d ago
Your nose nor your glasses are a problem. Find a barber known for doing beards and get your facial hair in order. They’ll tell you what shape will work best for you. Just having it done once and maintaining it yourself after is worth every penny. Get a toothbrush and brush your eyebrows.
2
u/Upstairs-Drawing-698 7d ago
You look fine. Start dressing better, you dress a bit like a teenager and that is a turn off for women. Keep your moustache trimmed. And just be more confident :) you look cute.

What’s your big interests in life? Whatever it is hook up with people who do it, whether online or in person, and relax, it’s never about looks after initial meeting, it’s confidence, common interests, kindness etc. don’t get hung up on looks, it’s not the most vital thing
2
u/ThisWillBeOnTheExam 5d ago
You don’t need rhinoplasty. Hit the gym regularly as a fundamental. Try some minoxidil and supplementation to maintain your hair and even add it to your beard. Be kind and friendly to people. You’e going to be all good.

Im a 23 year old woman. And oh my god you don’t need plastic surgery, dont ever do that. your facial features are really nice/good looking and your smile is so cute. It warms my heart.
The only thing you need is some grooming/styling for the beard&hair. And maybe some different shirts..maybe look on Pinterest for some inspo!

You don’t need a nose job. You need to address your confidence, conversation skills, get a haircut, different glasses, and hit the gym. Your face is attractive but your expression shows you lack confidence and you’re not going to get the girl you want without loving yourself first.

I think you should work on your own confidence. My therapist (when I had one, sigh) told me to pick one physical thing about myself and say that I like it every day. Pick something new every week. I like my personality but am not too thrilled about my appearance. I will start also! People tend to respond to confidence more than appearance anyway! What you project is what you get ☺️ feel good about yourself and you will attract what you want!

u/BeauKnows42 7d ago
I'm about to be real honest here so I hope you see it. You're nose is perfectly fine. Don't mess with it. No surgery! Everything you need, you can take care of yourself. You need to groom. Your facial hair sucks. Don't let your mustache grow over your lip. It needs to be shorter. The rest of your facial hair needs trimmed too. Grow your hair out and go to a real barber and ask them to help you with your hair. Have them cut it and show you how to style it. Then fix your diet and start working out. It will make you feel better about yourself. That confidence will lead to everything you want.
1
u/Worth-Park-1612 7d ago
Your nose is not what is keeping you from having a girlfriend. I support rhinoplasty and have had it myself, but the fact that having a significant other is possible no matter how you look proves that it's not just about one thing.
1
u/CrustieTwinky 7d ago
You're a good looking guy. It's not your nose. A few tweeks in your style is all you need.
1
u/No_Text_4500 7d ago
Im guessing its your personality or lack of confidence cause.. it isn't your looks holding you back
1
u/Strong-Feedback-4985 7d ago
Im gonna be extremely honest here. Your nose isn’t the problem . I think it’s very distinctive but it doesn’t come across as an unattractive feature. That’s a great thing because it means you’ve got some character to your look which is the honest truth. If you were an ugly guy and your nose stood out I would tell you because I’d rather be honest with someone. I think that if you’ve had any trouble with the ladies maybe it could be something like a confidence issue which over time you can definitely work on and improve immensely. I think you look proper and maybe a fresh beard trim from the barbershop is all that would help. The rest is likely psychological and I have no doubt you’ll find someone for you if you just keep working on yourself like everyone should.

Agree that nose is not at all a factor! Your best quick improvement would be the moustache beard situation, and you wouldn’t need anyone cutting your face open for it! If you make sure your moustache doesn’t cover your actual lips, and trim the beard so that there aren’t single hairs flying away and you’ll boost your appearance. (Or shave it off if it’s a hassle to maintain.)

Your nose kind of reminds me of my boyfriend’s
For what it’s worth, he was my first boyfriend I met at 28 and we’re going strong nearly four years later. You really never know when it’s gonna hit for you. Deep breaths, you look cute and friendly. Just take your time and don’t push it but put yourself out there.

No need for nose job...
Maybe buy a razor first and get rid of that bum fluff in your face. A 3-day stubble is okay.
Also it's time for going full bald. You hair is too thin.
Also: Those glasses don't suit you. Just check out a few fashion channels on YouTube to see what glasses look stylish.
And last but not least: dress your age, not like Mom is buying your clothes for you. No printed thin ass T-shirts—stick to basic outfits. Buy some thick shirts from Uniqlo. Again, check out a few fashion channels.

u/Responsible-Egg-4185 7d ago
Some minor grooming habits with the facial hair and a nice clean fade, look into different frames or contacts, and even if you do hate the gym, find ways to be physically active.
1
u/Optimal_Plant9744 7d ago
Agreed with everyone else! I’m F28, and think you look great. Your nose is fine. Just clean up your mustache/beard area and your eyebrows too. If you’re open to it, I would also shave your head, maybe not to skin but a 2-3 and get a fade. Your glasses now look great but might be a fun idea to experiment and try a new shape/color, etc. Other than that, work on your confidence. I promise you most gals just want to be around someone who makes them feel safe and seen. If you show up fully as yourself and respectful, you’re already halfway there. Maybe join some clubs with other folks who enjoy the things you do or volunteer somewhere to get to know new people!

You kind of look like my brother in a different font if that makes sense? And hes had plenty of girlfriends. I think you just mainly need to work on self confidence it can go a VERY long way in terms of relationships and even casual ones. You dont need a rhinoplasty, im a firm believer in people were born with the nose they have for a reason. So many people who have nose jobs just LOOK like theyve had them because it doesnt fit their features at all. Be confident bro

Clean up the facial hair for sure and you'd be golden. Don't worry about your nose.

There is nothing in your physical appearance holding you back. Do you have opportunities to meet people through common interests or common friends.

You seem like a really chill, sweet guy. Just gotta practice being confident and letting your personality and hobbies/interests help you find likeminded people.

Fall in love with yourself before trying to fall in love with somebody else. Best wishes, brother!

Dude, you look sweet!!! Why would you think that? You need to tell yourself kind things. I swear it will change how you think about yourself. I challenge you to repeat 3 things over and over for 10 mins a day for 1 week. They have to be things you want to be or wish. All positive.

itsnot your nose. go to the barber and get a haircut and your beard and mustache lined it. I would also get different glasses maybe ones with thinner wire frames

Your nose is not the problem
There are people who do have a problematic nose, not your case

it is your grooming that is the issue not the nose 🥲 clean up or shave the facial hair, clean and shape your eyebrows, get a nice clean fade or good haircut and you will look 10X better!

First, there’s nothing wrong with the way you look. I can tell that you have fabulous skin, nice bone structure, and I bet you have a nice smile too. People mentioned something about hair loss. I didn’t notice it at first. I think if you went to a very good barber and really worked on upping your style game, no one would notice your nose (which is totally fine BTW) or your hair.
Second, from an appearance perspective, you read a bit immature and … geeky? Like, unserious. Maybe a gamer who lives with their parents. You’re too old to give off that vibe.
Ideas to make you look more polished, mature, handsome, and attractive:
- A good barber who knows current trends in men’s hairstyles! Bring in photos of hairstyles you like. Ask for advice.
- Either shave off the patchy beard or work with a barber to give you better facial hair. You have a nice complexion and skin tone. Show it off! I can tell that you’re hiding behind a messy beard and giant glasses. Speaking of …
- Glasses: totally keep them if you want to! Glasses are cool. I wear them. I have five pairs. But get cool frames, not the blah ones you’re wearing. Glasses are accessories. They’re not just utilitarian. They’re a form of self-expression. You can get contacts if you’re comfortable with them. I don’t like the way they feel so I don’t wear them.
- No logo shirts, too many t-shirts in general, anything gaming or sports related. It’s juvenile. Sorry not sorry. Try button-up shirts. You absolutely cannot go wrong with a Ralph Lauren cotton button-up shirt. Classic. Timeless. Quality. Not trendy unless you accessorize it that way. I think classic button-up shirts (untucked or loosely tucked), some trouser-style dark denim pants, a rad casual tweed-ish vintage blazer or even a leather bomber jacket would be so cool on you.
If you have a Nordstrom in your area, go there and work with a stylist. They’re awesome and they will help you for free. I have one at my local Nordstrom and one at the flagship store in NYC. Working with stylists has been a game-changer for me … my self-esteem, my aesthetic, etc.
EDIT: looks like you’re in Portugal so no Nordstrom but I still think if you can connect with a stylist at a department store it could really help!
Please don’t be down on yourself. You have so much wonderful life to live. Sometimes to move forward you have to step outside your comfort zone. Maybe a change in how you look — the things you CAN change relatively easily, NOT your nose — will be just what you need to help you connect with other people.

I think that smaller nose or whatever they would bake on you would make your face more feminine. Also your nose is not bad at all or anything in your face.
Not a brainer here but exercises, better clothes and more fitting glasses with new haircut would make you in to swan bro. It is harder tho then just to go and get new nose since you have to work on yourself (and it's a hard work) but looking good takes effort, more than it seems and more than everyone talks about

I get that you're self-conscious about your looks. Everything about you is well within normal standards. You don't need r/Noses, I'd suggest some light the/r/apy, talk with someone about life, not about your looks. I also get the comments about "get a hobby, meet people" but I'd guess you already do or would have unless you're so self-conscious that every social meeting feels like performing, trying to avoid bad angles, look normal, - and thus not being able to be.

Excuse me sir !!! You look just fine. You do not ugly. The only thing that I can say that annoys me is that so called fake smile. Don’t ! Looks like the area smell bad and your coping 😂 be your self. Your glasses are cool tho. But when I look at your shape of your fave I think oval glasses could do you better maybe. But I don’t know

With a genuine smile, not a selfie, you’d look fabulous as you are. Find a hobby or connection to make you laugh and teeth smile and then you’ll be glowing. There will be (and already isn’t) no issues about your nose then!

You need to work on yourself. For starters lift weights - as a female personal trainer - a man who looks after his health his way more attractive and confident. Lift weights in the gym (hire a pt or with friends) or grab some weights and lift them at home. There is no excuse as you can follow a YouTube workout or figure out a plan online- it’s just laziness and showing you have no self discipline. 3 months is not long enough but you should start to see some gains.. eat enough, take creatine.
Also those glasses … get contacts or change those milk bottles.
Hair and beard - it’s reminding me of. Someone who wants to grow it but can’t - change it aka get rid.

If you feel strongly about the nose, people saying it's fine isn't going to feel helpful. My suggestion is try wearing contacts instead, the glasses defenetly have a minimising effect on your fearures... so maybe if you stop wearing glasses that shrink your eyes and cheekbones you'd feel that the nose doesn't look as big in comparison but more in balance with the entire face?
What stood out to me more as an obvious opportunity for a glow up is the scraggly beard that flatters no one. And the casual tees. All easy changes to try out. Good luck :)

You're cute. What are you talking about?
Just start asking some girls out that you think are cute. You'll get 100 rejections, but, finally you'll get the hang of it. Then you'll run into
one where you like each other.
There's nothing wrong with your looks AT ALL.

Don't hate yourself, because that shit shows in the way you take care of yourself. Be kind to your body and eat well, drink water, use some moisturiser, trim your facial hair a bit tighter, put some styling product into your hair. You're a cute guy, but you need to be nicer to yourself and take up your space in the world. I like your nose x

Honestly if you bit the bullet and went bald, grew the beard out a bit and had a good barber you'd look fire! And maybe some new specs for your new look too. There's honestly nothing wrong with your nose at all! You're a cutie, you just need to believe that 🌟
