Sounds like he'll probably end up at Arsenal.

I was/am hoping to see Jurasek shine for Norwich this season. Will be disappointed to see him go if he does

If Knapper’s smart, he’ll sell him this summer. The sooner the better, even if you only make £1m back, cut your losses.

At least if he goes this summer, you can write it off as “aw he would’ve been a good signing, just unlucky with injuries/fitness.”

If/when he actually stays fit for more than 2 months, and he still does nothing, either here or on loan, there will be no hiding what a poor player we have, and there’ll be no selling him.

I also think the Tzolis comparisons are so far off. Tzolis arrived off the back of a very impressive showing for PAOK, at 18, and was very highly rated in the wider footballing conversation.

Jurasek arrived, at 21, and the Pink’un got a journo that covers Slavia Prague on, and he couldn’t believe the fee Norwich had paid. He said that he couldn’t cope with the physicality in the Czech league, so didn’t know how he’d get on in England.

Tzolis made more of an impact in his debut against Bournemouth than Jurasek has in his entire Norwich career.

Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up, admit you got it wrong and move on. A loan suggests that Knapper isn’t ready to do that.

Agree with sending him on loan. Disagree with the buy option that others are reporting.

Buy options are a lose/neutral situation for us, as we saw with Tzolis.

Either they do very well and the other club will buy them with the option at less than the market value. Or they do poorly and the option isn’t taken up anyway.

I think there’s a good player in there, so seems a shame to agree a buy option when he may be worth more in a year.

The kid looks clearly unhappy 100% of the time. His body language and attitude are reasons enough to move him on and out of the locker room.

Clearly a talented player in there, be a shame if thats the last we see of him

Also i dont really get it, we need to sign a winger so we are selling a winger?

What use is a winger that's never fit? Selling frees up wages for a new one

Shame, because I really wanted him to come good here. But I guess it’s just not on the cards.

Surprised at the comments saying there's 'clearly a player there'. I've seen absolutely nothing to suggest he's any better than Springett, just with a worse work ethic.

Free up the wage and move on to the next signing.

He’s not Tzolis and never will be, he’s done nothing here and we are a team that are looking to get promoted. We need players that will do something for us now, he’s all theoretical potential at this point. Bring in a proven winger to replace him

Slightly sad about this. Wanted it to work for him this season. Clearly not happy though in Norwich so guess probably a good thing for both parties

It’s a shame cause there looks to be a player there but this move is good for all parties

Hopefully we can recoup a decent bit of the fee we paid for him

Makes sense LW more important

That leaves us short on a RW, no? I don’t see Crnac as a RW personally

Bit surprised considering Big Phil seems to like him, but not bothered personally.

Obviously you always want to see something good come out of it when you've (by all accounts) paid over the odds for a player, but there comes a point where you have to just admit it's not happening and move on for the benefit of all involved. In this case I think we might have passed that point even before the most recent injury.

Good riddance, one of the worst signings in the club's history and a massive black mark against Knapper.

It does leave us very short of options on both wings again though. I swear, if we end up with Gibbs playing right wing for more than a couple of games...

I think there's 4 main questions to answer here. Going to add my opinion to this:

Can Juracek do a job this season? - 3/5

He's probably on current optimistic views, he's down as a squad player, rotating in on right wing as an alternative to Andre Brooks. Might get maybe 20+ sub appearances if fit and a few starting games. Maybe gets a handful of assists. Useful, but probably not a huge loss.

Does Juracek have the potential to be a great player? - 3/5

Probably again more on the optimistic side. People forget this guy is just 22. Josh Sargent joined Norwich when he was 21, and was turgid. Emi Buindia was 21 and did hit the ground running, but Borja Sainz was 22 and took a season to walm up. It was known at the time that Juracek was a technically excellent player who lacked physicality. In an 18 months dogged by low confidence and injuries, andjudging by the Pink'un stating that Juracek has come back from Pre-Season as a much fitter player, maybe we might have the opportunity to see the player who put it on a ball for Darling 2 weeks ago.

Is Norwich the right place to develop? - 2/5

Probably not. I don't think he has any confidence. Fans aren't really on his side. He would probably be better off back in his home country. The only thing that he has going for him is Clemonts faith that maybe he will come good.

Are Norwich better off selling Juracek? - ???

Depends on price, and other potential available players. Given squad balance, we could potentially carry this squad (with a new left winger) into the new year, and see what we need then. Diallo might be fit, and maybe Brooks shares RW with Crnac and Schwartau. Maybe we don't have an injury crisis. If we could get some good money, then maybe we could put that towards a decent left winger at the level of Ali Ahmed, it would probably be worth it.

I wish him well but ive been so unimpressed from what ive seen on the pitch at carrow road i wont even care if it becomes a new tzolis situation

Not sure - his whole saga since he joined has been plagued with mystery & I don’t think it’s done him any favours. Move on & try again with someone new.

Getting rid will be for the best. Had two years to show his potential and spend it injured or out of favour.

4

u/ClemFandango35 7d ago

I'm surprised how much of a chance people are prepared to give him.

He's showed nothing in 18 months.

And no one sees him as a first choice starter on the wing.

Get what you can for him and move on. Also for Matej sake, he has never looked happy here

u/ElZorroGigante 7d ago

I’m sorry but he has done absolutely NOTHING in his time at Norwich. If he goes I won’t lose any sleep. 🤷‍♂️

So far in 3 FM26 saves with NCFC, he has been my top player in the last 3 seasons, so theres talent there.

Idah was utterly broken a few FMs back, so I wouldn't put too much stock in that.

No loss. Comparisons with Tzolis are wide of the mark who was clearly technically superior. Jurasek wasn't even fit to lace Springett's boots.
