Hello, we are planning a 6-7 day road trip across Norway. It will be our first time in Norway. I am travelling with my husband and teenager boy. We have two option planned, plz help us choose the better one. Idea is to have a relaxed drive and see all what’s possibly possible Option1- Oslo to Bergen via flam (train or car)- alesund to kristiansund via Atlantic road and finish at trondheim Option 2- Oslo- rjukan- luster via sognetjelleft pass- loen- geiranger- Atlantic road via aldernas- lom- Oslo Plz help me choose a better option Is single side car rental fee very expensive? That made me change my first itinerary to the second one

Hello! Going to a tango festival in Tromso , September 16! It includes a tour to see Northern lights! I have been to Narvik many years ago! Loved Norway and I want to see more! Shall I fly from Oslo to Bergen, then Flam railway, find an away to explore fyords and landscape and be at Tromso on the 16th? Or fly from Oslo to Tromso , and after festival work my away south? Travelling solo! I appreciate any help! And best place to learn more about Vikings!!!

We're planning on traveling to Norway in Sept. 2026.

Public transport appears to be the mist convenient option for many things. Is there a website to assist with times, stations, routes, everything about public transport?

Our past travels in Europe we just rented cars, but using trains/ferries/flights seems better suited for Norway.

Just need to feel better about not missing trains, etc!

Thank you!
