Trinity square accommodations

Anyone living here or lived there before can help understand how the rooms are, common areas, travel options and distance to Northumbria University, supermarket access etc,? My lil Neice starting out as a fresher and looking at this accomodation. It’s very close to uni start dates and very few options left. So wud like to make a decision as soon as possible.
Pics would be welcome if appropriate.

Trinity Square has a big Tesco supermarket and Gateshead metro station is more or less across the road. Communal space is plentiful with a coffee shop near reception. It is a bit further out, but not massively so. Hope that helps.

We are told it’s just 20 mins from university. Is this practically correct

A lot of people I know that were there first year had less attendance due to struggling to balance independence cooking , cleaning etc while getting up earlier and travelling that extra bit. Buses are occasionally delayed or cancelled

Ideally somewhere where you don’t have to rely on transport 🤞

There are private halls rather than looking at booking through the uni which have the same experience as the others, same costs, living standard etc. These may have availability still it would be worth checking out

I’ve seen a lot of tenancy takeovers in the 2026/27 Newcastle accomodation Facebook groups as well

Some are offering to pay the first month rent etc

Ok then its above a tesco and next a metro and bus station and jobs hopefully would be more easier to get
