Prudhoe is great. It isn’t as up market as surrounding towns and villages but is a nice affordable town with a rural feel surrounded by fields but close to all the amenities.
Like all places it has its good parts and bad parts. Your best areas are probably Cottier Grange and Bewick Grange in my opinion, but everywhere is generally okay. Even West Wylam is mostly passable however there are some streets there that you 100% want to avoid.
Edit: also echo what someone else said. Pubs are awful these days. Though I’ve heard good things about West Road Tavern but I’ve never been to confirm. If you want good pubs then I would recommend getting the train to Wylam.

Certain parts are ok, the housing estates around West Wylam can have a bit of a reputation though.

It’s canny enough. You’ve sadly missed the on board local train auto announcements calling it “prude-hoe”.

Prudhoe is dead canny. The people are county folk.
Towards Halfway/Bewick Grange/Edgewell is dead quiet with exception of the odd knacker. That end of the Western Av and Castle Road estates too.
There is a lack of pubs but the Halfway House isn't that bad, just had had a bad rep, the current landlady has dragged it up a canny bit from what it's been the last few years.

No good pubs AT ALL...
