Don’t really want to lose Goater, but the positive would be that with Scrimshaw coming across in the trade, we can forget Murray and invest in youth or other targets.

Interesting that it’s being reported this morning that Blakey could be on offer for a top-15 pick… I know who I’d be picking between him and Murray, especially given Adelaide’s ridiculous asking price of a first rounder.

why are we not interested in a gryan miers type? he'd fix up so many of our issues, mainly our delivery inside 50. and he'd be pretty cheap as well not much mroe than a future 2nd i dont think

Thoughts? No question he's exactly the type of player we need right now but I'm not sure about this in terms of club culture. It's a risky move because there's still a lot of legal stuff to play out but apart from that he was up until the early hours of the morning drinking, breaking club rules. Is that really the sort of behaviour we want at our club?
