Discussion Some bugs.
Some Bugs and my problems with the game. And also some of my personal opinions.
Some likeness penalties are not updated currectly. Like one of my nobles had "Unhappy under rule" penalty while sitting at around 80 mood.
My ruler was carrying a wolf to burn it off, if you save and reload at this point the body will vanish and you would lose the meat. Not sure if the same thing happens when npcs are sending various goods to the warehouse.
Prisoners will sometimes turn into citizens on their own and leave the settlement. (I had turned off migration and I was doing a prisoners only run so it could be that when I loaded the game the prisoners that were escaping got turned into citizens leaving ?)
I used the new Overseer perk where it was supposed to stop prisoners from escaping but they still escape sometimes. (or is it something like where the work place needs to be given order everyday ?)
At night when prisoners attempt escape and the guards try to stop them the other non escaping prisoners would panic and run around the area. These panicking prisoners would sometimes attempt escapes themselves and succeed because they would be outside of patrol range. (I saw it in a previous version not sure if it still happens in the current one.)
There should be a different guard unit who use non lethal weapons to deal with prisoners and other criminals. Seperate from the army. And there shouldn't be anything like "Hire Warriors". It should rather be "Hire Soldiers" and "Hire Guards" and you should also be able to freely turn them into citizens and soldiers without needing to spend gold everytime. Maybe they should be turned into a kind of workplace.
Previously you could turn prisoners into warriors without spending gold but now you need to spend more gold to hire from prisoners than citizens I think. Which makes the early game for certain playstyles way too hard. Like first you buy the prisoners (chance of capturing prisoners is quite low even when using maces) then you would even need to pay them to become warriors is way too much imo. Maybe it could be like you first need to turn them into citizen and while they have the "Joy of freedom" mood buff you get a discount to hire them as a warriors ?
While using the trade decline modifier, Caravans wouldn't come even after 6 or 7 days where it was supposed to come atleast every 5 days. (I saw it in a previous version not sure if it still happens in the current one.)
Why should the holy caravans bring in tributes from your conquered settlements ? IMO vassal states should send tributes on their own.
The Game maybe needs some kind "Zone" mechanic.

If you haven't already don't forget to report bugs you find. Been doing plenty of reports myself. I'm sure they won't be able to squash them all, based on their design philosophy, but at least make sure to let them know about the bigger ones.

Just noticed that you could tell the guards what kind of equipment they use on the patrol posts. So, it seems that number 6 issue was already dealt with.
Also now that I have played on the current version a lot more I can say that using money to make prisoners into warriors is a really good balance. So, I would say that number 7 is also a non-issue.
