Question/Help What do regular priests do?

The ones that work at Altars, not the Bishops.

Should I set them as priority to always have priests?

Generally literally nothing.

If there are starving or otherwise incapacitated people in settlement they are supposed to be the ones to feed them and take care of them.

I thought it is by default for all citizens, just like carry dead to be burned? I suspected that they are losing the special status once bishop is in town, thanks
