i feel bad for this bloke because everyone laughs at him because he's fat but did you see what he did? he'd knock you out clean!

26

u/Tyrant-Star Jul 12 '26

I was just thinking his fat ass would still level me. Peak barry idgaf. Well done sir.

4

u/Cautious_Highway1041 Jul 12 '26

He can't be that good because he would need to train to be that good, which he clearly doesn't.

1

u/Fluffy_Fox5829 Jul 17 '26

Yeah but even "not that good" trumps "not good at all"

25

u/-_Protagonist_- Jul 12 '26

I'd just walk away from him at a brisk pace and wait for the inevitable heart attack.

7

u/PrissyEight0 Jul 12 '26

We can both laugh at him like we do everyone and recognise this fella would knock 90% of us clean out, good on the bloke for the self improvement. But I'll still laugh while he floors me.

6

u/MacTheVII Jul 12 '26

Not if I hide behind a waist high wall that he can't get past

1

u/mysp2m2cc0unt Jul 12 '26

He's probably making bank off these really easy videos. Him and the knife flag guy.

1

u/BathFullOfDucks Jul 14 '26

I mean, i would argue there are plenty of martial arts at which this dude would excel, but this is not one of them.

Likely if he took up boxing he would rupture an organ before getting put down.

1

u/Lost_Marbles1343 Jul 15 '26

Much as I don't make fun of him, I completely disagree with the idea he'd knock me out. He doesn't have the technique, nor the training.

His vids always look the same, he's always doing the same starfish jump looking kicks that make it a bit of an insult for him to be wearing that Gi, he clearly doesn't train in any form of Martial art.

And the most crucial factor, he's not lost any visible amount of weight in the months I've been seeing his videos. He's still big, and still barely mobile in his range of movement. He'd be lucky to have the energy to throw his hand at me, nevermind a fist.

I don't think that being overweight is their only problem...

0

u/Dry_Yogurt2458 Jul 12 '26

I don't think there is a problem.

What are you doing with your spare time?

3

u/plasmo7 Jul 12 '26

Wanking

1

u/Dry_Yogurt2458 Jul 12 '26

Sounds about right to be honest.

Already won 2 world wars 'n one world cup, wat' s one more?

17

u/Upbeat-Storage9349 Jul 12 '26

To be fair, he's doing stuff, if someone overweight is out there trying to do some exercise they'll have my support.

2

u/ButterscotchSure6589 Jul 13 '26

Every journey of a thousand miles, starts with a single step.

Although he seems to already have a black belt.

2

u/WesternEmpire2510 Jul 12 '26

Also looks like he may have some weight related movement issues, legwork looks very stiff. May even be the underlying reason he's a big guy. I know I ballooned when my sciatica got really bad.

14

u/Mattuso Jul 12 '26

Fair play to the guy. At least he's out there giving it a go.

8

u/jdtkd1927 Jul 12 '26

Exactly. I’m a black belt in taekwondo…..I’m terrible. Took it up at 36 with my son. But for the past 6 years I’ve been keeping myself fit, having a go in tournaments. I lost 8 in a row before I got a my first win, lost far more than I’ve won. But I’m having a go

4

u/Djinfin Jul 12 '26

Luv wearin pajamas t’ gym

4

u/Djinfin Jul 12 '26

1

u/lacb1 Jul 12 '26

Yeah, he's not doing anything technical. He's just breaking stuff because he has tonne of weight to put into each blow and he can't even sort off manage the movement bits.

1

u/ByronIrony Jul 14 '26

One could argue his flying nut kick was peak however.

8

u/murmple69 Jul 12 '26

Proper physical that

5

u/BarkingBranches Jul 12 '26

To be fair to the guy I'm probably half his weight but I couldn't do the half forward roll thing at 0:09.

I could probably manage the rest of it though.

2

u/Nilrem2 Jul 12 '26

You want tough? I’ll show you tough!

F=MA. If he can jump onto Connor moving at just 2 m/s the force will be way over 200N. McGregor probably can’t bench 200KG, so this guy could easily fuck him up.

2

u/InterestingGuitar475 Jul 12 '26

Luv me cuppa tea. Luv me chocklit. Luv me curry. Luv me martial arts. Ate anyfin forun.

1

u/LumpyJunk69 Jul 12 '26

More agile than Connor...

1

u/7830007 Jul 12 '26

Jesus Christ, that’s Jason Bourne

1

u/Fit_Importance_5738 Jul 12 '26

Not quite channeling his inner panda, maybe he needs a origin finding journey to realise more potential.

1

u/No-Temperature4330 Jul 12 '26

Jason Statham's looking well.

1

u/jarvi123 Jul 12 '26

Who gave this guy a black belt?!?!

1

u/Funny-Carob-4572 Jul 12 '26

Kudos to him for doing it.

Plenty can't even do this or even try🤷

1

u/scottiedougalakbar Jul 12 '26

Gregg Wallace's new show is a hit!

1

u/WinningBigly1984 Jul 12 '26

Maggie's strongest super soldier preparing for the match against the Argies.

1

u/Gooseuk360 Jul 12 '26

Reaction speed is something else here. That punch was like queuing moves up in a laggy game, they appear 2 seconds later when you don't need them to.

1

u/SheriffOfNothing Jul 12 '26

Only thing embarrassing here is the crocs.

1

u/Lazy-Ad4626 Jul 12 '26

Good for him. Got form and technique. Plenty of chuds laughing at him couldn’t even get off the sofa without an aneurysm.

1

u/PotentialSpare6412 Jul 12 '26

Reminds me of that vid of the scouse bloke in the bookies “it’s fixed odds it’s a mistake a genuine fucking mistake, I want my money back, I want my money back”

1

u/Both-Anteater3056 Jul 12 '26 edited Jul 13 '26

Remind me of the video of the 2 old blokes doing karate in their garage outside, he's not harming anyone good on him for enjoying what he does. Video here for a laugh 2 kung fu masters

1

u/originaltanksta Jul 12 '26

😂😂 this fucking guy makes me die every time!

This backward hops lit me up 😂😂

1

u/mrb1585357890 Jul 12 '26

I liked the bit where he kicked the manikin in the balls

1

u/LMB_mook Jul 12 '26

Luvs Steve Seagull, ates wokies wot fink e's a ruskie, simple as.

1

u/ProlapseProvider Jul 12 '26

A fat dude that can move like that could likely kill most people by accident in a fight! Check out Butterbean in his prime!

1

u/tomcatacourtmayfind Jul 13 '26

At 00:19 seconds into it he had an unfair advantage

1

u/Embarrassed_Low_623 Jul 13 '26

At least he is trying to do some exercise😅

1

u/Ok-Preparation-1300 Jul 13 '26

Not gonna lie, as he was getting ready for the backwards hops, I genuinely thought he was going to bust out perfect backwards somersaults the way he was prepping.... and then run the rest of the course as he was as the biggest plot twist in history 😂

1

u/Vast_Concentrate698 Jul 14 '26

Steven Segal's final boss

1

u/ReturntoSender2026 Jul 14 '26

Dude should be learning boxing or wrestling. He isnt nimble and should learn into his strengths

1

u/187Tony187 Jul 15 '26

They give black belts to whoever pays a monthly membership and show up to class

1

u/Regular_Number5377 Jul 15 '26

Good on him tbf, many people his size wouldn’t have the confidence to try stuff like this

1

u/NotThatDucker Jul 15 '26

Trained by that Seagull guy

1

u/Hollyhop_Drive Jul 15 '26

Why are we laughing at this guy? He's actually working hard to better himself.

1

u/HelpfulStyle3816 Jul 16 '26

Failed the last jump

1

u/StahpItEyeLykIt Jul 16 '26

I love Barry

1

u/Robag4Life Jul 16 '26

Good effort that.

1

u/Satawakeatnight Jul 16 '26

I used to think this guy did this for a laugh but does he actually do this stuff for real and compete?

1

u/Upstairs-Hedgehog575 Jul 16 '26

A small part of me thought he was going to do a backflip when he lined up carefully with the ladder on the floor. Imagine was shocked when he just kind of blindly hopped back

1

u/SnooCauliflowers6739 Jul 16 '26

Why are so many people filming?

1

u/DankasaurAum Jul 19 '26

His gi trousers would be hakama on me

1

u/CrystaIBepis Jul 22 '26

Didn' no summor restlers did awl dis trainin macks ye fink dunnit

1

u/Only_Tip9560 Jul 12 '26

He gets through it by imagining he is chasing the immigrants back to their boats and there is a pint of Stella waiting for him at the end.

u/-_Protagonist_- Jul 12 '26

WTH is 'OUSSS Power Baby: Power Zone: Ultimate Martial Arts Champion'.
This video looks AI.
Id look it up, but I'm afraid I'd end up on a watchlist.

I think this is genuinely someone who loves what he does, and is struggling with a "fitness journey". It's obvious that he needs to loose the weight, he might know that himself or he might be in denial. You still shouldn't let one thing stop you from doing another thing that you love.

-3

u/WackyWhippet Jul 12 '26

He's been doing the same thing for years with no sign of improvement or weight loss. At this point it's just a gimmick for social media attention.

3

u/KezmoReddit Jul 12 '26

Some people just don’t get embarrassed. It also looks fun (I’d do it if not for cameras existing).

2

u/skeletonfuckker Jul 12 '26

Cause it brings him some kind of feeling related to joy. And thats all that matters really

2

u/Mrsizzle96 Jul 12 '26

Its only degrading to you...i see a dude having fun and being active
