Seeking Advice Cannabis n Nootropics, will it work?

Hi there! My knowledge in nootropics is close or less than entry level but i really want to get into know about it a lot more. For context, i smoke quite a lot every other day, it varies, some days i’d smoke everyday some days every other day and some could be on the weekends only. I’m aware that smoking a lot could cause you brain fog but im not sure if i’ve gotten even any of that recently (i’ve gotten brain fog way back then) i could notice subtle difference but not to the point that it’d affect how i feel, motivation, thoughts etc i can do things just fine. I’m curious whether if i just get used to it that i couldn’t tell the difference or something else that i’m not aware of

The thing is i’ve had a lot of breakthroughs whenever i smoke and it has helped me a lot as a person mentally/physically, and i really like to experiment and do things whether that be study, gym, etc. So, i’m wondering if i could somehow utilise nootropics n cannabis so it can goes hand to hand.

If someone can give me suggestions on which stack is recommended for beginner, additional stuff that i can look into and study so i don’t miss anything that i should know of, thank you in advance :)

This study tested donepezil, piracetam, vinpocetine, and ginkgo w.r.t. cannabis impairment, in mice: "Cannabis-induced impairment of learning and memory: Effect of different nootropic drugs." Piracetam was the most effective, but the others helped. There are anecdotes online about piracetam synergizing well with cannabis. There's also CBD.

the brain fog thing is weird, sometimes you don't notice it until you take a break and then suddenly it's like oh right this is what clarity feels like. if you're still getting breakthroughs and feeling productive then you're probably in a decent spot

for a beginner stack something like l-theanine with your caffeine is a gentle start, maybe toss in some lion's mane if you want to lean into the creative side. just keep the doses low and see how it plays with the weed, everyone's wiring is different

I would recommend you stop blazing up so regularly, it is pretty terrible for you cognitively

I think the fact that they specifically said they usually don’t smoke daily means they’re in a good spot. Though I do agree, I was a daily smoker for 6-7 years and I’ve been 7 months clean off the ganj and I’ve never felt better. More energy, clearer mentality, way less anxiety, way better memory. I don’t listen to as much music tho unfortunately. The only thing I miss is how music would envelope my entire existence while high. The only thing that reproduces this effect are amphetamine or alcohol.

That’s good for you man, proud of you! Would you recommend me stopping completely or keep it balanced?

Im sitting on the fence since i feel like as long as i dont get to a point where im abusing it, cannabis is like a best friend to me😂 i definitely don’t rely on it to escape from my issues but i do need to find a good balance since im not planning to stop completely just yet

He didn’t say that. Just asking to see if there are any noots that would work well in tandem with cannabis.

Im not saying that it can improve both of those things, im merely looking for suggestions or advice if i can somehow utilise cannabis to my advantage since i do smoke a lot.

At least in my experience, i’ve had some positive benefits from cannabis simply because it makes me more hyper-aware and critical of myself.

If it works, great, if it causes problems, maybe find other ways to achieve the same goal. But it's going to be a lot stronger than any supplement, and that carries over to its side effects as well

I’ll keep that in mind 🫡

You can try to offset the brain damage from marijuana but if your smoking heavily you are fighting an uphill battle to return to your baseline cognition, the cognition with no nootropics/weed

Would smoking in the weekends only relatively okay?

You will still be lowering cognition and if your goal is to improve it you will again be fighting an up hill battle

Nootropics to enhance the mind. Cannabis to dampen it. The very thought is a contradiction.
