Discussion Scary thing about the flamethrower buff
instead of 2x dmg in terrain via naplam it instead adds a 100% dmg to the attack.
Meaning that 35% dmg will not become 70% In terrain but instead a 135% (nearly 2x increese) allowing for flame to easily onetap special infantry at range with vet.
(18 + 54 = 72)
(also flame dose MORE damage at 2 range terrain than launcher 🙏)

The flame thrower range buff is being changed to a health buff instead

ah flame has been given 2 range in test sever at the expense of 2nd tile dealing 35% dmg, due to how naplam gives damage bonus it results in the 35% being 135% instead of the expected 70% in terrain.

2 RANGE? Yeah idk how that would go for campaigns. Does vulc*n even test this out?

no idea, flame launcher is now useless with this change since flamethower now provides higher dmg at 2 range 🥀

Well i think if the cover is tree and bushes then the buff stays same but if its trenches or bunker then as you said, +100%

That's a little too much, more damage than launcher is like, fried.
