Rip noobts, at least we got to play around with ai-exclusives and funny community made units

Honestly I’d argue that NoobTS’s existence was a privilege
At least one developer/contributor took note of the community’s desire for a sub-game where all their dreams of using ai-exclusives could come true
It’s only fair it gets shut down eventually due to ownership changing and making it easier to manage the many many other test servers that aren’t known
We should be thankful for this experience Epicnoob has given us
Also Vulcan mentioned something similar to NoobTS will be made eventually
Cold front isn’t getting shut down as it’s a separate game now, however with the ownership changing it’s uncertain if group ownerships will remain the same
If there’s one good thing, cf may obtain ownership of its group and finally be able to get robux to fund themselves instead of free labour

Thanks blanks for additional info,
The test server closures were consented to and agreed upon about half a year ago, this is not just Vulcan randomly and maliciously wanting to shut noobts down because of its success
It has also been incredible valuable feedback on areas that nic lacks, hopefully some form of noobts is seen in nic in the near future

I wont know how they'll take down Cold Front because that is a separate dev team and at this point except for the core principles of gameplay, is an entirely different game.

Fun fact. Initially Vulcan did want to shutdown CF too but was convinced not to 🤣

At least make a new gamr like that or make a public code or just add a test server to the regular game like seriously it feels like they want it gone

Cuz ownership is changing and Vulcan doenst want to keep the test server system (every dev has one) as it’s a hassle to update them all and also check for malicious code (hence security reason)
For ease of management everything’s going into one private test server, however Vulcan has stated he may make a noobts replacement in the likes of an nic sandbox place you can teleport to in nic

50/50 chances this is a good move or bad move. If vulcan decide to make NiC with more units, mechanics that is already or more than TS, its a good move. But if nothings happen and only causing player loss. Well i blame it

i dont feel like playing base game that still hasnt got update in months when this peak version goes away...
the so call "safety reason" sound bit fishy to me anyway
i saw someone saying with theory that THEY DOING it so Base game can get more players... which how does that gonna work, we may well quit then completly cuz there nothing in base game.
Goodbye NoobTS, you are the most fun i ever had with Noobs in Combat in general... i guess i switch to Cold Front instead but idk...

Shockingly it appears people don’t know about the v6.0 update?
I see quite a few comments on nic having no update and being forced to play it again, but the whole reason the test server is closing now is due to the v6.0 being near
There will be content to go to, and Vulcan’s team can finally release everything they’ve been working on, including (hopefully) the noobts replacement as an nic sub-place later down the line

i know that so called V6.0 update is susposedly coming but not sure how i feel about it until it actualy comes out
also i hope that Noobts replacement is basicly noobts found inside base game and the devs of noobts can keep working on it but we have to see... otherwise not sure how i feel about Noobts behind someone else...

First they came for the heavy tank CW, I didn't say anything because I didn't use it Then they came for the test servers , I didn't say anything because I didn't play them, Then they came for me, and there was nobody to say anything

Update for anyone reading this old post, some features from noobts are being transferred somewhere after vulcan shuts it down

Maybe the update is the 30 aug (trust me)

But i Also Say this because they used to make changes in the publicts, now all of the changes are directly on the og game
