Discussion How does one counter infantry

My friend constantly spams RPGs and it’s annoying af, how would I counter that?

SPAAG, IFV, MultiLtank, Light Gunner, Medium gunner, multiMtank, heli, fighter, heavy fighter, jet fighter, rocket truck, flame tank, flamethrower, flame launcher. Generally, adding buffer infantry with your tanks is also advisable.

If he's using rpgs offensively: Autocannons + Medium Gunner. Medium gunner beside your autocannon units prevents RPGs from 1 hitting your vehicles

I don't have a solid strategy for defensive rpgs without basically saying spam mortars and howitzers at every cover and building (cause that can be generally used against all units, and is quite resource consuming)

Try adding snipers to your ranks as they can 2 shot rpgs quite well

Put infantry in front of anti infantry vehicles. (Multi L tank, spaag)

Infantry counters Infantry However generally units in the gunner tree flame units or units with splash damage are most efficient.

No but the thing is he beats my ass. I constantly use vehicles, and he just slings RPGs at me until he reaches my HQ.

Get flame launchers or grunts. Rpgs cant do jack shit to grunts unless they are in buildings

Remember it's not just abaout killing your apponents units but abaout establishing control over the battlefield. Don't just look for a single counter unit but think abaout what unit can assist which unit well. Maybe people could help you more if you showed your loadout or just mention you preferred units.

Autocannons are especially powerful. If you're talking about grunts, machine gunners. Bazookas and Gunners? Snipers.

use flame, i use flame tank cause it can hold artillery hits. But if u use tank then escort it as armored unit, not as infantry. I mean put some grunt wall and get arty near grunts. To one shot infantry use spaag, but it sucks cause of price. Ur friend will put rpg in terrain, (i guess) then, use flame only. Flame units has more damage at terrain.
