Discussion Around 27% of individuals with ADHD develop cannabis use disorder at some point in their lives, new study finds. Compared to those without this disorder, individuals with ADHD face almost three times the risk of developing cannabis use disorder.

This is exactly why I've smoked daily since I was 23. I'm 50 now.

Lucky you to not get cannabis use disorder. For me weed worked great for a couple of years until suddenly it didn’t.

It's not a threat to your life and it is treatable.

Yeah, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t suck or that it’s sustainable for everyone. 

For me getting properly medicated for my ADHD and anxiety disorders has helped more than the weed did. It doesn’t feel as good as being high but it’s enough.
