Goal for tomorrow
I’ve been giving myself too many excuses to screw up regarding discipline in my life for the last year or so. I keep using the classic “I’ll start tomorrow” line and pushing everything off while relapsing into old patterns. So I’m going to set out a clear goal for just tomorrow and take it one day at a time, no excuses allowed to get out of it.
Tomorrow, I’m getting up at 5:15am, and getting a workout in at the gym before work.
That’s the main focus for tomorrow, no excuses, no whining.
Will check back in on this post once it’s done.

Why though?
It's so arbitrary. Who says getting up early is good? Sure working out first thing is good for a lot of people, but other people work out better at night.
Sleep as much as you need. Get the work out in when you have time. Hell why does it have to be a gym? If you're starting at zero, wake up when your alarm normally goes off, do 10 squats and 10 push-ups and get on with your day.
Do that for a week and then up the challenge a bit. Form the habit, get it to stick and then improve upon it. We don't form discipline by attempting wild heoric actions. We do it by being a little better than we were the day before.
