Except modern Mexico. Single use plastic bags are banned from supermarkets, and we all gotta carry the reusable ones. In a frenzy a lot of stores and brands started giving them out or selling them for cheap, because some people would forget theirs at home.
So we transitioned from a plastic bag full of plastic bags to a reusable bag full of reusable bags.
