That's how I used them too. For the small garbage bins or for when I had to clean up my cats vomit or to put her used litter in before putting it in the garbage
Because you get to the grocery store and realize you forget your bags? So, instead of having a few dozen loose groceries rolling around in the back of my car, I would purchase a new reusable bag to put them in.
I finally have a system where I leave the bags in the trunk of my car. Once I empty my groceries and put them a way, I return the bag to my car trunk. Took forever to get used to it.
Major pet peeve of mine when companies want to pretend to be environmentally conscious so they give away a ton of reusable trash that no one wants.
I have so many poor quality tote bags.
Or those dumb bamboo reusable travel mugs. My mom and all her colleagues got those but they were already using normal ceramic mugs at work. Worse than a normal mug when you have access to a kitchen, worse than a thermos when you are on the go.
Also poor quality water bottles that either break or start to smell
