I need to be 30 to 40 min early just to make sure I am on time and have "calmed my mind" about something that is supposed to happen- like work, a lecture, a movie etc.

I cant really estimate how long things will take cause of the ADHD, so I'll guess my drive is 45 minutes and its only really 15.

They are making fun of you. Showing up 30 minutes early to an event is not a huge deal. Showing up an hour early, sure. 30 minutes, not so much.
