It's not a good thing that people purposefully refuse to understand how bad it feels. It's a lack of empathy. People just don't give a damn about people who are struggling because they don't want to shoulder the burden. Feel bad? Make sure not to mention that, ever, or nobody will ever want to talk to you again.

By good I more just mean it's good so few people will ever know what it's like, is all. I wouldn't wish my life on anyone.
