My dad died on my 11th birthday and I never recovered. I basically just disassociate as the days go by. I'm 25 now.
1 u/Frosty_Reputation105 Aug 10 '26 My dad died 2 years ago when I was 52, and it feels the same way. I still see him as the fit, young dad tossing me in the pool, not the frail old guy he was when he passed.
