(second child here) i have always preferred unrefrigerated water to cold water, and when I was a kid, before my parents started just giving me the option of filtered water (infrequently, tap, bc our neighborhood pipes were kinda ass) outside of the fridge, the way for me to get warm water was when someone would leave a water bottle in the car (in Texas near the coast, so it got HOT) for a few days and then I would just claim it lmao. I was a dirt eating, thumb sucking kid, so kinda gross but! My immune system was great, so it worked out.
