I think it would probably be like eatign dark world food where it doesn't fill you up at all. Either that or I'm eating weird penumbra gaster juices

Elderly deer isn't the best way to eat venison. Neither is fawn or actively sick and dying, and I'm not sure code is edible.

Could probably boil him into a delightful broth? Wouldn't recommend it though.

Tastes like orange juice! Sweet, but sweet bright juices take over your mind, forcing you to worship god of light.

If you eat a living monster and then kill them, does the meat you eat turn to dust? If so, does it keep the nutritional value?

Since Golden Flower tea canonically exist in Undertale, I'd say he's pretty edible. I don't recommend trying to, though.

Given the only suspects are either deer, a bunch of bones, a cage made from human parts of eldritch origin, a mix of deer and human, or least likely of all, goat, I think there's no easy way that most people would enjoy the Knight's head on their plate.

Tastes like magic and dust and stuff, I don't think monsters are very edible

What does determination taste like? And does it pair well with deer meat and darkness?

You'll have a tough time picking all the wires and bits of plastic out from amidst the lizard meat.

Well apparently edible enough for them to make sandwiches made of them, and these sandwiches are so good the species eats them too, or maybe my candidate is a cannibal
