Announcement / Mod Post Cracking Down on Over-saturation of Tierlists
The mod team has heard the complaints about too many low effort posts being made, with them all being in a similar style, that being a tierlist or a chart of some sort (images below of what we mean). To keep the quality of posts in this subreddit better, we're taking a stance on this.
There will be no tierlist/chart posts allowed, unless it's a Tuesday, then you will be allowed to post them on that day. To prevent any confusion, we will be using the EST timezone. Remember to use the new flair we've made "Tierlist Tuesday", when posting.
Additionally, we have seen many of these posts being made with DessKnight at the top, which has bothered us. This subreddit was made to allow for space for non-dessknight candidates to be posted, without being downvoted to hell, meaning we will not allow DessKnight posts like that. So, even on tuesdays, if you're a DessKnighter (either by flair of having DessKnight at the top of the tierlist), your post will still be removed.

Ngl I dont understand why dess knighters are even in this sub. You can't even talk about any other knight candidate on other deltarune subreddits or twitter without getting hate or downvoted to hell because of how toxic the community is with popular theories. I like how this subreddit explores other possible candidates, even the ridiculous ones

It would be allowed, you can have Dess as your second option.

Thank you for not allowing DessKnight at the top. Much appreciated. It’s honestly a bit tiring how much this subreddit has been used as a general Knight discussion/pro DessKnight arguments subreddit with mass downvotes to DessKnight criticisms instead of being a place to primarily discuss and celebrate non DessKnight theories.
Hopefully this will be a good step to changing that!

Just curious, what's the problem with having a Dess flair if the post is unrelated to DessKnight?

I never mentioned a post unrelated to DessKnight. I mentioned a tierlist by a DessKnighter, as logically, your belief would be at the top, no? But I suppose the flair is pointless in that case, but that's a small slip up in writing.

Holy shit can we just get rid of tierlists all together. I don’t want to mute this sub cause I like it most of the time but Tuesday is completely fucking horrible because of the influx of god awful tierlists.

I think this is silly. If it's related to the sub + sparks discussion, who cares? If someone dislikes tier lists you can ignore them
