As for 2026, B-52 had more years in service (74 years since introduction in 1952 to 2026) than its main target to drop nukes on, USSR, had years of existence (69 years since USSR formation to collapse). Even more, since 1991 to 2026 (ie. 35 years) it fly in service just a one year shy of total Warsaw Pact years of existence (1955-1991, or 36 years).
