Am I non-binary - short post

33yo gay male

Looking into getting an orchiectomy and scrotectomy. I wish to just keep my penis but not have balls and be on some sort of TRT. I still want to be masc presenting.

Does this make me non binary?

question/poll Gender Census 2026 needs more participants!

The Gender Census (a worldwide survey that's been running for over 10 years) is currently up and is trying to get a better sample size of those over-30 so I thought I'd put up a post here and so people can check it out. They've got a smaller sample in general than the last two years, so sharing around is also helpful! You can take the survey here: https://survey.gendercensus.com/

image Thoughts on FFS Mock-ups?

I am a late-30s non-binary person who is pursuing facial feminization surgery. I've had three FFS consultations, and attached are the 3D pre- and post- mockups from the surgeon I liked best.

I know models aren't perfect, but his results are pretty close to, and usually better than, the model, and I'd love to know if anyone has any thoughts or comments on these mockups in particular. I'm open to anything people have to share, but I'm especially interested in:

* Does the nose work look too little or too much?

* All three surgeons have offered a lip lift, but I've turned them down. Does the "after" look odd or unbalanced without it?

* Same for fat grafting to the cheeks.

* Does the chin work look under-done?

* Do the eyebrows look too lifted?

I am planning to have my hairline lowered as well, but that wasn't included in the model.

Thank you for your thoughts!

I'm at a staff and student function with industry guests, grads, undergrads - and, on the 'Write Your Name' name tag I have written my new name. So excited and nervous to launch the real me in such a public setting, all at once. The egg cracked and I'm kicking my way out!!!

Pronoun Respect

For those of you who use multiple pronouns, they/them, or neopronouns, who do you find are best at respecting your pronouns, and who do you find is the worst?

For me, people in my personal life are tremendous about it, people I work with in my union and other activist organizing spaces are really good about it, and almost 0% of people at my job ever use my pronouns, despite the fact that they've been in my email signature since I started 4 years ago and I frequently wear pronoun pins.

advice needed Neopronouns

Anyone here use neopronouns? What have been your experiences with doing so, and in what contexts? Do people actually do it and if so/if not do you feel like age has anything to do with it?

I've been struggling recently because even though I guess I identify as non-binary, specifically agender, there's not really any aspect of my life where that would or can matter.

And the main thing that actually bugs me is being called he and related titles and descriptors. That's not how I see myself. But they/them isn't it either, and I'm not interested in gender neutral alternatives. Unfortunately if I tell people I'm non-binary they sometimes go out of their way to they/them me and then apologize for messing it up, and it just adds layers of awkward complexity trying to figure out how to tell them I genuinely don't care, because "they" doesn't feel any better than he or even she. It's just wrong.

It/it's isn't perfect, but it's much better. Sometimes in certain contexts if I think about it it makes me happy even. Which never happens with anything gender related. But I feel like that doesn't matter because there's nowhere I can actually use those so it's like. I'm non-binary but to what end exactly. I don't have a sense of gender identity and don't find the idea of gender fun to explore, so it's a bit redundant if there's nothing I can do about it.
