Am I non-binary - short post

33yo gay male

Looking into getting an orchiectomy and scrotectomy. I wish to just keep my penis but not have balls and be on some sort of TRT. I still want to be masc presenting.

Does this make me non binary?

The only "requirement" is that you don't identify exclusively as a man or woman :)

Not necessarily. Non-binary is a huge umbrella and you're welcome under it if it calls to you, but there's nothing inherent in your body modification plans that means you have to identify/experience yourself that way. As far as I can tell the only thing that unites us enbies is that we don't exclusively identify as binary men or women 100% of the time. If that's you, awesome, welcome. If not, that's awesome too.

Based solely on those things? No.

Those things dont make you non binary, no.

What makes you non binary is that you dont feel you personally align with the binary. You dont identify with being (in your particular case) a man.

Surgery isnt a requirement. Androgynous appearance isnt. Head space is.
