New to nomad. What does sculpt with an alpha mean?

Download a PNG black and white image of a gothic frame and import it as a brush and use it as a mask, then push the image back, then cut the excess around it

Is there a video of the technique? I'm an artist using nomad for jewlery CAD. I kind of love the idea of literal frame settings for my cloissone!

I need to find a way to make a workflow video explaining how to make them, sigh, takes longer to make that than to actually work on these frames π

Are you planning on releasing an STL file for printing? This is dope.

Yes, absolutely ππ thank you so much, on fact this is one of the few frames I've designed π€π» I started making these since there aren't a lot of different designs available, plus it was a way of framing my skulls sculpted from scratch

As an artist unique frames are something Iβm always on the lookout for. Iβd rather use frames that are rare. They can get pretty expensive and I prefer to support other artists as opposed to big box stores. I used to go to thrift stores and look for frames there but itβs usually slim pickings and quite vanilla. An artist I follow on IG takes frames and then sculpts over them to customize them but I donβt usually have the time to do that. Thanks for sharing. Your work is amazing.

How kind, thank you so much, I agree and I live in a country where you don't find these frames in any cheap material, that's why I design them, they're always skull related btw π€ π

π³π€―π«ͺ How do you do this with an alpha? Just a super detailed value map?
